Whose Career Has Been Hurt Most by Sex Scandal Stories?

You would think he was the first politician to have a sex scandal history proves we will look the other way in fear we might have an opinion that offends someone. Bill Clinton is the master sex scandalist,, look at him you would think he was an american hero is he? Woods has the biggest story because he is the biggest tree to fall sleezy politicians are a dime a dozen both parties almost too boring to read about.

John Edwards hands down. Regardless of how his wife has been betraded as dominering and a bully, his dislusional belief that he could carry on his affair under the blinding spotlight of a presidential campaign and parlay his support to become the attorney general of the US is beyond the pale. His actions and decision doesn't speak well about him on many fronts.

Tiger Woods because he will have to go back to playing golf and return to the public eye. All of the others can work in other areas and behind the scenes as consultants.

Edwards might(not very likely) return 2 the world of politics, but his marraige is done!

But he can still work as a consultant in the background, not necessarily in polititcs. I don't thinkg Tiger could do anything that wouldn't be high profile. He has and had no prior life other than gold. He doesn't even have a college degree. I think he Stanford, where he was studying economics, to play professional golf.

John Edwards life is over as a political and it's no one fault but his own.

Edwards - This pompous ass thought his shit didn`t stink and that he could get away with anything, including cheating on his poor wife while she was fighting deadly cancer for the 2nd time and also while running for Pres. Then when questions arose, he lied until it did him no good anymore. On top of all that, he finally admitted he was the father of the child involved, once he learned a book was coming out about it and was stupid enough to make sex tapes/movies of his exploits.

In other words, Edwards did all that under circumstances which have caused him the most harm and deservedly so. In his case, it does not matter how many times he says sorry because there`s no doubt he`d be lying. It`s obvious because he`s too in love with himself to really be sorry.

Not sure why but Dems tend to not bounce back from scandals as well as the GOP. But I think that Edwards comes across to the public as entitled so its easier to discard him.
