Obama spoke to women supporters at a Denver event today ..."...I wanna make sure that when she is getting paid the same as men, I gotta say that First Ladies right now, they don't, even though that's a tough job!"

This woman has spent MILLIONS of dollars of U.S. income taxes on behalf of her PERSONAL vacation trips including South Africa with her own safari; Spain, Copenhagen, Vail, Las Vegas, Honolulu, and London for the Olpmpics plus sending her 13 year old daughter with 12 classmates and 25 Secret Service agents on their own personal trip to Mexico in violation of travel warnings for government employee's family members

Add to that, all the White House parties held for the Obama's entertainment! Now, Obama thinks she should be paid!

NO WAY! (It's not that women don't deserve fair pay for the same job as men, it's that this women has been an absolute parasite when spending our money, not hers!)

First Lady is not a job position. There is no responsibility or authority. What she may or may not do is purely voluntary. Voluntary positions are not paid in salary, but in the gratitutde of those who may have been helped by the voluntary work.

Her other job as a board member of Treehouse, a Walmart supplier, paid well too. About 172k in pay and stock options all while her hypocritical husband was out there boycotting and permit blocking non union Wal Mart stores. After they got caught in the double talk she resigned.

Thank you for that piece of information about Michelle's board gig with WM. I didn't know that. I think you overstated the comment about reporters daring to investigate the Obama's like in the good old days. The article was from the NY correspondent for a British Newspaper. Domestically at least the Obama's skeletons have no risk of being exposed by the main stream.
