The politicians are a part of "We" in "We the People".

We certainly need term limits on the Senate and Congress, they are not looking out for the people who voted them in. The nation has changed and evolved into something they would not recognize.

Us. Look at our last election... Foreign donations flooded in from over seas of $50.00 which was the maximum contribution BEFORE PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED. The same locations were flooding the same amount over and over and over. The main stream media ignored it. WHERE IS THE OUT RAGE? I would expect democrats to be outraged but they aren't! What are people thinking? Where is the outrage! IT'S ILLEGAL TO TAKE DONATIONS FROM FOREIGN DONORS. WHERE'S THE OUTRAGE!?

Jefferson expected a new revolution every couple generations. He figured that would be about as long as it would take for a ruling class to establish itself and need to be taken down. I'm sure he must be rolling in his grave by now.

Has blood on his hands, he watched our seals getting murdered in Benghazi. He has kept Eric Holder in business when he should have been canned for fast and furious. Why is it you don't bitch about foreign donors making 50.00 donations repeatedly adding up to millions and millions! Who is suppose to investigate that? Eric Holder. You sit there with his crap on your face and you tell us its better than foi gras! LOL
Is it really any wonder your words fall flat.

The real surprise is that we survived as long as we did..
Capitalism has failed everywhere it's been tried except the US
What made the system work here and nowhere else was a 150 year labor shortage. It kept wages rising along with production. That ended in the 70s and wages have been stagnant ever since.

Capitalism is now running it's normal course on a self destructive slide into Fascism.
The concentration of wealth has doomed us to collapse

"We the People" were white men with "property." They weren't supposed to be politicians at all, they were supposed to be statesmen who put their country ahead of themselves, not greedy hogs who got rich at the expense of their constitutents.

I think they'd also object mightily to the financial "system."

The politicians can't do anything unless we elect them. So, the responsibility falls on the voter to know the issues, know how the candidates stand on the issues, know if the person you vote for is beholding to outside groups, corporations as is in "Citizens United". We, the people, get exactly what we vote for so it's our own fault.
