With a slow recovery, many swing states have elected GOP governors and legislatures. There has been severe buyers remorse in most of them lagging behind the country in job creation, workers rights taken away, voting registration becoming harder and their war on women. Gov. Walker is being recalled, Kasich had GOP overreach overturned by referendum. FL, WI has had near the bottom in job creation, VA, PA had ultrasounds making decision for a woman about her own body. Gov. Snyder told people your vote for local officials mean nothing in America. All have said assemblies (unions) have no right to petition the government (no collective bargaining).

The Native Indians (or indigenous population if you like) died from measles, smallpox, influenza, typhus, and tuberculosis etc. which wiped out an estimated 90% of the population because of a lack of immunity - this is called the Great Dying.

That is not to say that they were not killed by newcomers and herded onto reservations. My own family comes from Watseka Indian Reservation.

I just cannot imagine a dud such as Romney in the White House. Of course, I could be wrong. I said the same thing about Bush, but I didn't reckon with the Republican Supreme Court.

The truth is the president is leading in most of the swing state polls. Truth is GDP and the Stock Market has grown, so much for killing capitalism. 12 years of Dubya tax cuts, where are the jobs? Dem presidents for the past 40 years have produced more jobs and economic growth than GOP presidents. The trickle down no regulation policy has seen S&Ls fail, the 90-91 recession and the housing meltdown that lost 8 million jobs. Doubling down on the disease as is Romney/Ryan budgets is not the cure and will send us backward. Forward is what happens under president Obama.

The stock market will have even less impact on jobs with the GOP allowing foreign income not to be taxed if the trillions on corporate books are invested in T-bills matching that income. Cutting trillions from the have nots giving it to Walton billionaires under the Ryan budget reduces demand and sends jobs to China. Your CBO statement is BS. The only valid non propaganda link was USA today, which if you look deeper will find existing policies before Obama are the bulk of the deficit. Your figure of 1.8% is BS too with an average closer to 3% for all of Obama's presidency since his first signed budget.

He has focused on the economy. ARRA stimulated the economy, and saved and created more than five million jobs. What do you want him to do? He cut taxes for the middle class and extended the payroll tax holiday. He won't cut taxes for the billionaires, because that would have no positive effect at all.
