    Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels

Rubio didn't have American Citizen parents when he was born in Miami in 1971. His parents didn't become citizens until 1975, so based on SCOTUS precedent, Rubio isn't a Natural Born Citizen.

My choice from the list would be Daniels, but I would reallly prefer Florida's Rep Allen West or Businessman Herman Cain.

Ryan, is the obvious, logical choice. When America takes over the Senate, Presidency, and keeps the House, Ryan will be the man with all the answers to fix this crap. He is proven, right, and a SOLID American!

If he picks Ryan, he'll go down in flames. Christie has no charisma and can be kind of rough and crass. Don't know much about Thune and Daniels.

If he picks Rubio, Mark will go down in flames. Marco has made it clear time and time and time again that he has no interest in the office at this time. He is a first term Senator and this will serve Rubio very well for the future.

His integrity will be etched in stone for the future when he DOESN'T show up as a VP this time around.

Ok then, I have no clue who he'll choose. Maybe it will be someone no one expects.

QUESTION SHOULD BE, WHAT WILL OBAMA WEAR AT HIS SECOND TERM ELECTION WIN?

A better question will be wtf will you do for health care when a government bureaucrat stands in between you and one of your loved ones getting the health care they need if obama is elected?

Did you ever consider using your head for more than a hat rack, by chance?

OUR MEDICARE SYSTEM IS BANKRUPT THANKS TO MEDICARE D WHICH YOUR BOY BUSH TOOK LOANS OUT FROM CHINA TO PAY OFF THAT BILL. DID YOU EVER CONSIDER READING INSTEAD OF LISTENING TO FOX NEWS,BY CHANCE?

Bush is no longer president, last time I checked.

Medicare, Cash for Clunkers, the barak led financial crisis, the housing crisis, Social Security, obama's war against the Constitution, obamacare...pick whatever you want....obama raised the debt in four years larger than Bush did in eight (when we at least realized where the funds were going).

Time to wake from your stupor and realize how stupid you are.

Knowing Romney probably some left of center fluff. For some reason the Republican elite think they can only win with that type of Candidate, ie Romney. Anyone remember McCain? Didn't think so. And that's why they always lose unless there's a disaster like Carter or obama.

The only problem with Rubio is that he said over a hundred times that he is interested in fulfilling his FIRST term Senate obligation. Mark has to prove himself to SOME degree before he becomes credible on that kind of stage.

He knows that and will stick to his guns and not accept the VP nod. That will make him even MORE of a force in the future. He will then have shown, and proven, he is a man of credibility.

Well, there wasn't much to pick from, so I went with Rubio. And he said again yesterday he's not going to accept the job. He has said it so many time that I'm starting to believe him. Of course Hillary says the same thing, but if obama's internal polling shows him losing he'll dump Biden and I have no doubts that she'll jump in. Now, how in the hell did I get on Hillary? Good grief!

Paul Ryan is the obvious, incredible, choice for Romney. Ryan helps fill the void of Conservative's about Romney. Plus, Paul, already has the knowledge and plans to fix health care, the budget, etc, etc....

He is a no brainer, obvious choice.

I think obama is going to go with Blundering Joe Biden. Hillary said she will quit after this gig she has. Let's hope that stays true, getting rid of the Clinton's once and for all would be one of the best things this country could hope for.

I would be surprised if it's Ryan. Although I like Ryan and agree with his plan the obama Campaign is already painting him as the Devil for wanting to destroy Medicare and SS. And don't count Hillary out, if obama sees he's going to need her supporters I think she'll be there. Then, all those Hillary supporters, here on SH, who are your friends now will become your enemies. As much as they hate obama (only for what he did to Hill) they would vote him back in if she's on the ticket.

Good points. You might be right about Hillary. I sure hope he doesn't not choose Ryan for the points you make. We're at a point as a nation where we have to stop compromising and do the responsible, and ONLY, plans put forward.

I'd take either of the people you mention, but Paul Ryan is clearly the best choice to me. If Romney wants to cater to the far right crowd, Ryan is the best choice, only because he has actually put forth solutions that will work.

Paul Ryan is too controversial but I like him b/c he is from my state & is really a solid guy. Chris Christie is great, but he can say things that can be troublesome. Mitch DAniels isn't a bad pick- don't know enough about S. Dakota's Senator. I think Marco Rubio is both strategic, and a solid choice.

If he picks Ryan, as most voted for, I don't think that will help him. Ryan has been demonized too much as the hatchet man, I don't think swing voters will be too excited about him.
