No President can complete, or even begin completion of his vision for America in one term.
All Presidential hopefuls make promises they believe in, but can only hope that the momentum they have started, is carried through once they hold office and beyond.
Every Presidential candidate makes promises to the American people they know will not be done without support from Congress. And those visions will burn to ash if Congress is hostile.
President Obama has faced more hostility and adversity from within the governmental system than any president in our history, yet he has gotten more done for the good of our country and her people in three years than his immediate predecessor did in eight.
Once again, the rallying cry of the opposition is "Conservatism!" But what, exactly, does that mean, when the "conservative" party candidates are at such odds?
Does it mean Newt Gingrich 'family values?' One can't help but ask which of his three families is most valued. Is it ironic that while Gingrich castigated President Clinton in front of Congress for his indiscretions with Monica Lewinski, Newt wrapped his arm around his lover while phoning his wife to tell her their marriage was over? (And am I the only only one who envisions a small lizard every time the name Newt is mentioned?)
Does it mean Rick Santorum's comparison to homosexual love and sex to polygamy, bestiality, adultery and child sexual abuse? Now, I do not doubt Mr Santorum's sincerity in his beliefs. And that is why a red flag flaps above his head every time I see him speak. For those who believe that government should be smaller, should step away from our personal lives and own personal family values and morals, former Senator Santorium believes that the Federal Government belongs in your bedroom and belongs along side your decisions regarding reproduction and sexual intimacy. And you will be prosecuted if your beliefs do not align with his.
Or do the new 'Conservative' values align with Mitt Romney? Mr Romney espouses the ideals of the 1%. Those who have made multi-millions off the failure of average Americans who continue to pursue the American Dream of working hard, saving for their retirement, having a home in which to raise their families and sending their children to college so their lives will be better than, or comparable to, their parents' lives. The cold hard facts are that the American middle class is disappearing. Does Mitt Romney really care? He said he doesn't care about the very poor or the very rich. But does he really care about us?
The 95% who are neither rich nor poor? Who toil away at jobs that have not seen a raise in pay in years? Or those of us who lost our jobs and are now working for pay that can't possibly pay the monthly bills because we are underemployed? Or those who have given up looking for work, because after sending out 1,000 job applications without even a 'thanks, but no thanks' from employers? What about the millions who have stopped even trying to look for work because they know it is useless? How many of our brothers and sisters have fallen through the cracks? What, exactly, is his plan?
Does Ron Paul care about those who are perpetually unemployed and without any kind of health insurance? No. Does he care about the perpetually unemployed or the under employed? No. Ron Paul is a self-proclaimed 'Constitutionalist.' He talks about governmental cuts and US isolationism, but lives on with all the enjoyment perks of a 'have' while seemingly championing the 'have nots' to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. I was disappointed when I really started to delve into Mr Paul's 'talks' versus his 'walks.'
So there it is. The Repuglican Party offers some very odious alternatives to our current administration. Our choice is to give Mr Obama four more years to bring his vision into fruition, or, fuck it up even worse with one of the above.
As far as I'm concerned, the battle cry to bring America back to conservatism failed some years ago. After eight years of Bushwhacking, it rings as falsely in my ears as a tin pan musical.

Reality is understanding how our system works and what is wrong with it,.. not listening to a group spouting vague complaints about someone because at the least they don't like the party that got him elected.
Reality check: If Obama is truly as bad as all this nonsense spewed regularly by the far right,.. then letting him do a second term would assure the death of the Democratic party as it exists.
Point of fact is the opposite. The Republican party is now fighting for it's continued existance as it is now. They warned us that Obama would shred the constitution and destroy the United states EVERY YEAR for the last three.
It's not happening,.. in fact we are currently approaching the Economic stability we enjoyed prior to 2008,... And they can't stand it. You can't preach good "DOOM and GLOOM" if stuffs getting better - it makes you look stupid.
By supporting Ofraud, you are aiding and abetting a criminal.
Ofraud is one of the most unconstitutional residents in history. His spending is out matched by none and he is a war monger - the opposite of what he campaigned on! He already violated the constitution with Libya. Are you ready for war with Iran?
Didn't he win the nobel peace prize?
You claim Ofraud has gotten more done for the good of our country - please list what he has done?
Wake up! Both bushwacker and ofraud have destroyed America with the help of congress and the supreme court! I blame you and your type because you can't see what is happening right in front of your noses. You live in denial and play the dem vs repub game when there is only one party ... the DRCP - Dem Repub Crime Party.
And while you blindly play the blame game, the rape and pillage of America continues.
Ofrauds endless appetite for more government growth and massive spending has made our federal debt skyrocket -- up more than 40% since he took office to $15 trillion -- and projected to top $27 trillion by 2021! Federal government liabilities now total more than $70 trillion. If everyone were taxed 100%, it would not be enough just for the interest.
And you conveniently give your fraud resident a pass on war! Remember! He campaigned on ending war and bringing home the troops! You probably think he has brought home troops from Iraq! LMAO!!! He sent them to Afghanistank!
Ron Paul is the only one who has the plan to save America.
As for my first reply to you, if you have a problem with it, complain to my teacher. That is what I was taught, and that is why I was sincerely asking for you to shed some light on the issue.
Education is another conversation. I will post a couple of videos that you should take and invest the time to watch if you choose. It will open your eyes.
Back to politics. The Dem Repub Crime Party are owned by the wealthy. So are the media (why we are never told the truth). The global banksters are in control and war is their best investment. Did you know that both Iraq and Libya had their own central banks and were threatenting to stop using the dollar standard when trading for oil? Guess who else has their own central bank? That's right, Iran! They are not part of the global federal reserve system! These countries don't go and borrow from the federal reserve at interest like the stupid US does! And the global banksters will create WWIII if that what it takes. They will create a false flag that dwarfs 911 if they have to.
They are not going to let someone like Ron Paul get elected. They would kill him if they have to. They have killed prior presidents who dare go against them. I will not vote for the establishment - that includes Ofraud. If Ron Paul is not on the ballot I will write him in.
The ideas proposed by the Republican candidates to appeal to the fringe right display an unbelievable lack of economic literacy, particularly Romney who should know better.
They are putting themselves in the position of rejecting the moderate voting majority thus assuring their defeat.
Btw, when I hear the word Newt, I think of this:
Newt. My name's Newt. Nobody calls me Rebecca, except my brother.
