Jimmy Kimmel was supposed to be the White House Correspondents' Dinner's headlining comedian, but he had some unlikely competition in the President. Obama's speech was peppered with timely jokes, including a fake campaign ad poking fun at the media dogfight surrounding the candidates' canine companions, and a clever off-stage closer where he pretended not to know his microphone was still on and asked why he was "opening for Jimmy Kimmel and telling knock-knock jokes to Kim Kardashian."
Kimmel also took shots at Kim Kardashian, but his best material was political. He went after Romney ("I don't think of Etch-a-Sketch. I think of Twister: One foot on red, one on blue and both hands on green"), Ron Paul ("Paul looks like the guy who gets unhooded at the end of every 'Scooby Doo' episode") and of course, Obama ("Remember when the country rallied around you in the hopes of a better tomorrow? That was hilarious. That was your best one yet.") Who do you think stole the show?

This is how the Correspondent's Dinners always are. A lot of poking fun, making jokes, etc...
Meh.
It's cool you go on and on about how bad Obama is.. Yet no matter how bad you think he is, anyone with a brain would be able to tell you he's still the best out of what you guys have to pick from.
The most important reason that he will win will be that the need our Nation has for his leadership for 4 more years. The majority of the American People want our Country back from the grasp of the 1%... we are tired of giving them the welfare for the rich Bush tax cut subsidy.
Still caught up on the Bush stuff huh? Is this really to friggin hard for you Libs to understand. Stop spending money... 5 freaking trillion more in 3 years.... how do you not understand that...
You are right about one thing. People want their country back. We want to continue being the US not slowing morphing into the USSR. I don't think Romney can do it... but you know what? At least he will stop the gusher of a wound that Obama opened up.
Yawn... Yawn... Yawn....
My wife always made more than me.
I don't want the 1% to rule the country. That 1% is full of Liberal Wankers..
You all are just a bunch of sheep. DADT did not bother me either way. It was a joke. This whole Presidency has been a farce.
The supreme court will vote down HCR. It is unconstiutional for the government to force people to buy something. Without it.. it can't survive. He shoudl have made it a tax... stupid stupid stupid.
Conservative controlled media? Man you got to stop going to the Make Pot Legal function. I think youre permaneantly stoned.
Perhaps if the rich stopped bitching about every little tax they seem to hate so much, sucked it up, and did their duty for their country, the debt wouldn't be so bad.
But the moment either of those things happens, people will whine about safety, and tax burden, and defenses, and having to pay to help the country they call home with their easily-earned millions boohoo!
As a conservative.. I am for a 40% cut across the board.. Everything in government slashed 40%. The amount that federal employee wages grew is freaking crazy..
The 40% is just a figure... Insert whatever figure will work.
That Marxist stuff is really old.
We didn't win the cold war thirty years ago so that you could recycle that garbage now.
If you envy the successful, I've got a suggestion for you, get off the computer and start doing something to earn your money.
Whining about other people's success is really pathetic . . . and about as unAmerican as you can get . . .
And you call yourself gr8American? . . . LOL. Yeh, right.
"Four more years" . . . of what? Joblessness?
Get a clue.
And if you're getting paid by the Obama campaign for spreading your Marxist message, I hope it is with his campaign money instead of my tax dollars.
Hope changey thingie... To bad hope and change isn't always good.
