Now that one of the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists is dead, it's time to figure out who gets the cash.

A $25 million bounty was set for Osama bin Laden's death -- but it's not exactly clear who will receive the money.

The government has offered millions for information on the terrorist leader, but it is unclear if any has been handed out yet.

Who do you think should get the $25 million in reward money?

Since the seals cannot directly collect the money, maybe there is a way some type of fund could be set up for the famlies and chldren, or set up a special fund to help all the wounded vets since9/11.

Don't give it to anyone, it's not like a civilian found him, everyone was doing their expected part in the situation. Just leave the money in wherever it would have to be taken from, almost certainly tax money.

George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. They started the war on terror and deserve all the credit in regards to that. No doubt they would give the money to the Navy Seals or charity if they got it. It would be a win-win.

I think the Seal team should share it among themselves and it shold be tax free. They did the whole world a big service and we should all be thankful. I also think the intelligence men and women who worked so tirelessly gathering the information that placed him at the compound at that time should be rewarded.

These are the people it was offered to before he was found or killed. If that cannot be done then it should be distrubuted to the VA yet it should be closely monitered to make sure it is going to good use and not to someone's pocket. btw Good question.

It needs to be split up by all the families who have had to bury a soldier in this war.

The SEAL who shot him in the face.

    Either that or......

Give it to the detainee who mentioned the courier. Then take the reward back from him, in seizing terrorist assets, and distribute it to victims. Either way.

It should probably be split among the Navy SEALs and the people that planned the attack.

Pakistan who, I understand, is now "expressing concern" over this UNAUTHORIZED raid -- I'm sure if we pay them off they'll find ways to think it was the best event since Independence Day. Sheesh.

Seriously, how about some to the team that mounted the raid, some to the informants who gave the definitive info, and some into some fund for families who've lost people in Afghanistan.

I agree with the cutting of funds. But I must disagree with the turnings away. I truly believe that, that area of the world CANNOT control itself. Much like a 2 year old. you leave a 2yr old alone in a room and they are gonna thrash it. They only behave under supervision.

We need to concentrate on defense, get the hell out of the Middle East and leave them to kill each other off. We will never change the Middle East. Historically speaking, we've failed miserably in our attempts.

Of course a 2-yo can't be left alone -- but the U.S. isn't the only adult in the room.

You can't seriously believe that India isn't capable of controlling itself.

These guys have put the man hours of planning and trainning, they have lived and breath they deserve this. Being that they can't get recognition because their jobs require secrecy they can at least get some money out of it. We may never know who these guys are.
  • . moviebuff 2011/05/03 17:37:53
    .
They are paid to "train and plan". They did a great job but still, it's their job. If the Navy Seals was getting it, it wouldn't make any sense anymore to offer a bounty for any terrorist.
