"When I think about what we've done well and what we haven't done well,"
the president said, "the mistake of my first term - couple of years -
was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right. And
that's important. But the nature of this office is also to tell a story
to the American people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and
optimism, especially during tough times."

I wish there had been an "Idunno" reply, as I didn't know, and even now I'm not sure.

Dang ..... I couldn't put my finger on it before but now I realize he just didn't tell enough stories or explain it to us well enough, even though his yapping mug was plastered on the screen numerous times a day in Hitleresque fashion.

Maybe that's why he's constantly on TV - trying to tell us enough stories that will make us happy with him. Surrrrre! LOL.

Yeah.... now I feel guilty about not writing him more often so he had fresh tear-jerking stories to tell.

    If only ..... sniffle-sniffle

Just more spin with the help of Charlie Rose...................already saw the clip on TV this morning. He has nothing to run on so now he is trying to say he failed to tell a uniting story. This from the biggest race pusher ever. If folks think he will change with saying this, they are wrong. He will just tell a bunch of lies and continue to push bad policy. What he is failing to admit is it is not the lack of telling a story, it is the lack of good policy.
