(9/12/2012, New York, NY) – Here in New York City, the
3rd-rate newspapers – all owned by 3rd-rate people who happen to be
radical Zionist Jews – are pumping the “al-Qaeda” killing of the US
Ambassador to Libya for all it’s worth. The headline I saw in the
Bed-Stuy Yemini-owned corner store screamed out:
Muslims: “We’re All al-Qaeda Now!”
The story doesn’t mention the fact that the vast majority of Muslims don’t like “al-Qaeda” and think 9/11 was an inside job.
Other American news agencies, however, are coming right out and saying who’s behind all the trouble:
Bacile, a California real estate developer who identifies himself as an Israeli Jew, said he believes the movie will help his native land by exposing Islam’s flaws to the world.
“Islam is a cancer, period,” he said repeatedly, his solemn voice thickly accented.
The two-hour movie, “Innocence of Muslims,” cost $5 million to make and was financed with the help of more than 100 Jewish donors, said Bacile, who wrote and directed it. – Yahoo News

whistleblower, not a real one. But that doesn’t mean he’s wrong when he
says that the conflict in the Middle East is at root a religious war between Zionist Jews and the Muslims whose
territory they have so brutally invaded…and that since this conflict is
none of the USA’s goddamned business, why in the world are we letting
ourselves be dragged into this bloody, supremely dangerous

Ambassador Stevens, who like me got to know the Arab world by living
in Morocco, was (as far as I know) neither Jewish nor a committed
Zionist. So why should Stevens, an American citizen and a representative
of the American government, be murdered because a handful of fanatical
Zionist lunatics have seized control of the US government and media, and
dragged America into Israel’s hopeless war against the world’s almost 2
billion Muslims?
It isn’t ordinary Americans who spend millions of dollars to slander the Prophet Muhammad. It’s the Zionists, stupid.

Sorry, but that was blatant misinformation and many outlets fell for it. (So did I, and I apologize for perpetuating this rumor a few days ago after I read it in the NY times).
As it turned out, Sam Bacile doesn't exist and there were no Jewish donors. The producer of the movie is Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, an Egyptian-American Coptic Christian who lives in California. His spokesperson is Steve Klein, an Islam critic and Christian activist, and the movie has been screened and promoted by Terry Jones, another Christian anti-Islam activist who is best known for burning a Quran.

I still stand by my opinion that the cheaply produced trailer (which hardly looks like a $5 million project; $5,000 is more likely) was an exercise in free speech and that the Muslim world will have to learn to live with this kind of opinionating. Anyway, it's not "the Zionists, stupid."

If the authorities in Islamic countries didn't approve of the content, they could have blocked it, just like China and other censorious countries do. Instead, they broadcasted it on TV in order to create an outrage.
Seeing that the movie trailer had been online for months, it appears that the airing of the trailer and the well-organized violent protests were timed to coincide with 9/11. These weren't spontaneous events. The video was nothing but a welcome excuse.
As for the nonexistent Mr. Bacile, a pseudonym used by Mr. Nakoula and Steve Klein, and the nonexistent Jewish donors: The news outlets have admitted their mistake and identified the true producers and backers. Can you do that too? It would be disingenuous to continue to blame Zionists when the press is full of evidence to the contrary.

Back to the financiers: There doesn't appear to be a full length movie. The trailer is the only content that has been filmed, and you can't tell me that the production costs were higher than a few thousand dollar. I mean, it looks like a junior high school film project. This could have easily been financed by a single person, such as Klein or Nakoula.
