Could you imagine ANY one of them trying to run for the nomination right now?
Womanizing drunkards and murderers living off an empire gained by criminal activity.
Who Misses the Kennedy's in Politics? Let's face it, they are non-existent in politics right now. I like that!

Schläue~© 2012/07/17 14:33:37I don't miss them!

He knew!
Bobby was even more at odds with Hoover, because way before JFK started to have his problems with him, Bobby did. He didn't like the way Hoover handled things and how manipulative he ways.
He stated it in his speech and some measurements that were attempted to take place within Congress. Most if his annoyance towards Hoover were self serving on JFK end, but not all of it. As I stated earlier; He wanted to try and do right towards the end.
As to what takes in Congress that is a congressional action not presidential or executive action.
So when I state JFK wanted to implement certain measures; he wanted to influence Congress to side with him on this issue. As for the myths about JFK; that is just different perspectives for different people. Some could be true and some could be false; no one ever look at historical figures in the same light any of way. One man's hero is another man's villain.
I'm not making claims; it's stated and was implied during a speech of JFK as to wanting the Feds to lose some of the powers that is sustains. That is far from stating JFK died, because he was against the Feds as some Conspiracy Theorists like to suggest.
"On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order 11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business."
Plus by that time I think it was more Bobby's idea
JFK long live the myth
What I did state is; towards the end he tried, and his brother Bobby was the only good influence on him from that family. I also stated he tried to lessen the Federal Reserves power. Those are the things I retorted; not claims of him being a good man who was a superhero.
Not looking for an argument either; just calmly stating the facts.
My points:
1) Attempted to End The Feds
2) Tried towards the end.
Points that you are dismissing and trying to spin it as me calling him the greatest president ever.
