John G. Roberts Jr, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court.
A reluctant figure who doesn't brandish or fetish the spotlight or try to use it to capitalize on his own popularity. A jurist who comes down on what side of the issue he believes is right, regardless of partisan politics. A man who upheld provisions of the Arizona Law allowing Law Enforcement officials to check citizenship status as well as who upheld provisions in ObamaCare of a so-called "Individual Mandate".
He probably summed it up best when he said his judicial philosophy was basically not to "correct the mistakes" of the people in the laws they consented to through their representatives but to determine the legality of those laws.
