Who is telling the truth? White House OR Gen. Petraeus?

I don't know, I'm not paying much attention to either at the moment.

i'm not undecided..you didn't have a choice of "neither" ..our government is no different then anyone elses..now..it dances to the rothschilds and zionists beat ! iran..north korea and cuba are the only ones left without a rothschilds central bank..and of course they are headed by unstable leaders..who care about their citizens..unlike ours.

The purge of top-level generals and officials from powerful US foreign policy and military posts reflects a further decay of our constitutional rights and residual democratic procedures: it is powerful proof of the inability of leadership at the highest level to resolve internecine conflicts without drawing out the ‘long knives’. The advance of the police state, where spy agencies have vastly expanded their political power over the citizens, has now evolved into the policing and purging of each other’s leadership: the FBI, CIA , Homeland Security, the NSA and the military all reach out and build alliances with the mass media, civilian executive and congressional officials as well as powerful foreign interest ‘lobbies’ to gain power and leverage in pursuit of their own visions of empire building.
The purge of General Petraeus and humiliation of General Allen is a victory for the civilian militarists who are unconditional supporters of Israel and therefore oppose any opening to ‘moderate’ Islamist regimes. They want a long-term and expanded US military presence in Afghanistan and elsewhere.
Israel now tell us who our Generals can be.

That is a false dilemma. They are not mutually exclusive. Both may be telling the truth. The CIA may have believed it was terrorism, but their unclassified talking points said otherwise:

obama and his minions have been liars since they have been in the white house and Patreaus is more honorable, they don't want him to run for president so they try to dig up dirt. The General's statements are more in line with the reports of other responders. The way this whole thing was handled stinks. Even giving the benefit of the doubt, Obama still did nothing to respond or secure the scene for weeks afterward. News reporters were walking around the site for goodness sakes days before our FBI. And the FBI did a really good job investagating when the press found more evidence after they left.

It is hard to believe either one but I know Obama is a liar. Petraeus' taking a job as the head of an agency that deals in deceit doesn't give him a strong reputation builder but taking any job with a known lying tyrant really hurts. Worse than the affair - his allegiance to Obama at any time is troubling.

I am more likely to trust the General in this matter. The White House had to come up with something on the General to discredit him knowing full well that he would be called to testify to the Benghazi fiasco. The only thing they could come up with was an extramarital affair which is pretty lame considering what went on in Libya that day. I then considered all the obummer campaign promises of 2008. He promised to cut the deficit in half during his first term. Instead it more than doubled because he increased spending. Unemployment went from 7.2% to as high as 10%. He would pull troops out of Iraq by August his first year and it happened his 3rd year. In doing so he than expanded the war in Afghanistan. And due to his support of the Arabs(Muslim Brotherhood) at the Arab Spring Summit in 2011 there has never been so much unrest, mistrust and terrorist activity in the Middle East since the sixties. His Middle East Apology tour soon after he was elected sent a clear message to the Muslim that everything the U.S. had done in the past was wrong and that HE the POUS was willing to make amends. He also insured this by intentionally neglecting to visit Israel during this Middle East Apology tour. This POUS for sure is going to get us all killed give him half a chance. Now whether it is ignorance, naivety, or conspiracy he is not competent or worthy of trusting his judgement. Impeach obummer TODAY.

While pretty much anything that comes from politicians, WH, Congess etc is most likely a lie. Gen. Petraeus is probably not lying, he probably will hold back on the complete truth, especially if he has knowledge of operations in which telling everything would jeopardize the. lives of soldiers involved.

Neither the Al Qaeda attack was know inside 10 minutes...the determination should be who gave the stand down order and refused to send support to the valiant fighters that saved dozens by violating direct orders from someone in the administration and then determine who order the filmmaker to be arrested to perpetrate their cover up...this is outright Treason and should be processed ...Clinton, Rice, Penatta, Biden and Patreaus lied for days after the attack...Obama remained silent and out of sight...

Connie Rice was a security advisor to Bush and knew bin Laden was set to strike in the U. S. , there is a big difference between what happened recently in Benghazi and the failed policies of the former administration.
