Obama invented the 'sequester' in the summer of 2011 to avoid having to deal with America's spending problem. So why now does he rage against it and attempt to blame Republicans for something he created? I'm dumfounded at the audacity of this President.
Obama is not just a radical leftist; he is obviously so ensconced in his ideology that he believes — or wants you to believe — that anyone who opposes him must have sinister motives.
One of his recurring themes is that some Republicans would work with him but can't do so for fear of reprisal from Grover Norquist on taxes, the National Rifle Association on guns, the conservative House caucus, radio talk show hosts, and your garden-variety racists, who allegedly oppose Obama just for sport.
Recently, Obama accused the "gun lobby" of "ginning up" fears that the federal government would use the Newtown, Conn., shooting tragedy to seize America's guns, saying, "It's certainly good for business." Is that how presidents should talk? Well, as your prove, Obama’s fear-mongering plays well to his base.
Obama’s tactics are the stuff of Third World tyrants, my friend. This is the MO of dictators, who want to control the media and silence any unfavorable coverage or commentary. Even thinking liberals should be outraged at this abominable behavior by Obama. And they should have the integrity to say so.

In the BUDGET NEGOCIATIONS before the term FISCAL CLIFF was used, Democrats & Republicans couldn't agree so PRESIDENT OBAMA propsed what is now called SEQUESTRATION that would cut both sides SACRED COWS and hopefully force the sides into negociating. After FISCAL CLIFF terminology came into use, they still couldn't agree, so they agreed to kick the can down the road to Fiscal Cliff #2.
Technically we went over it, but during POST-FISCAL CLIFF#2 Obama won. He got his tax increase on the 'rich', but it wasn't on all those he defined as 'rich'. He didn't have to cut spending or even promise to in the future!
Now his 'CHICKENS HAVE COME HOME TO ROOST'!!!!!!!!!
It won't be PAIN FREE FOR ANYONE, but SPENDING needs to be cut NOW, or the economy will fall apart!!!!!

In reviewing notes from his book “The Price of Politics,” Woodward writes in the paper, it was Obama and administration officials, which proposed sequestration. The Democrats supported it because they could get BIG CUTS in MILITARTY spending they couldn't get otherwise. The Republicans supported it because they could get BIG CUTS in SOCIAL SPENDING that they see as BANKRUPTING THE COUNTRY.

“Well, what I did was said that with all other options closed, we needed to look for an option where we could agree on how to resolve our differences. And we went back to the 1984 plan that Senator [Phil] Gramm and Senator [Warren] Rudman worked on and said that that would be a basis for having a consequence that would be so unacceptable to everyone that we would be able to get action.”
