Who is really tired of the personal insults?

I've been here at SH since 2008 and have managed to interact day after day without being reprimanded in any way. It's really not hard. I've been extremely tolerant of name calling and nastiness. However, I'm over it. From now on if you want to comment on one of my polls or to me, I will no longer take any personal insults and name calling. If I don't allow you to do that, it certainly doesn't mean you won the debate...it just means you have no value to my debate and you need to grow up.
So, how about sticking to the subject and stop with the juvenile insults?

I also feel those who can't take it are crybabies, and don't belong here, either. If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.
If someone calls me a name, and many conservatives have, I dismiss it as part of their nature, knowing they will continue to do so because they either don't like my opinion, or they can't take or understand the facts. I'm the adult, they're the child...that's how I look at it.
I don't block them, because that's cowardly and immature, as well. I just ignore them, and like pesky insects, they usually go away.
In fact, the one thing I don't like about SH is the blocking feature. It promotes cowardice, and provides a safe haven to those who can't debate, can't argue, or are afraid of other peoples opinions. And for me, being a coward is about s low as you can get.
I totally agree with you. To the SodaHead people--we may have a difference of opinion, especially when it comes to politics and religion--that is your God given right--but that does not give you the right to insult and disrespect me. Debates can be fun--if you do not invade my boundaries.
So far I have put up with it--I have not blocked anybody yet? But I will..........
