I chose Palin because in all the pictures, film and interviews I haven't seen the blind hate or anger that is seen in many of Michelle's pictures. A woman at peace with herself radiants a glow which Michelle doesn't have. It has nothing to do with color or race but soul lierally.

I understand your statement completely. I have always thought that both of these women were very attractive, but with Palin (regardless of the hatred that the media seems to have for her), she comes across as a woman who is at peace with herself and very comfortable with who she is, a normal and natural person. Michelle, there has always just been something about the look that she gives the camera that says there is so much more she wants to say, but is restrained. What is it she wants to say? I'll choose Palin in this category.

Not just restrained. She looks angry and hateful MOST of the time in my opinion. Perhaps she's restrained after letting the cat out of the bag that she was never proud of her country as an adult before B. Hussein ran for president. Hmmmm....I'd say I just made a doggone good observation there.

We have a good joke in the White House now, but no one is using the material he is providing. The media wasn't even this restrained on Bill Clinton and he didn't give them a third the amount of material in his first year as president. G.W. definitely gave us some laughs as did every president since the art form came to be. Why can't they parody President Obama? Oh, sure, there have been some lukewarm attempts on SNL, but nothing of the level we are used to. The president is not a god, he is a guy elected by the people and as such he is a public figure subject to scrutiny and humor.

While Dan Quayle did give us some humor, there were plenty of Obama gaffes that were not used during the election ("57 states" Barack said he had visited). Come on, be honest, all presidents do goofy things that we can laugh at.

Agreed, I think most people are reverting to their impression of each woman's personality, which is hard to separated from the person. I really don't think that it is as much racial as it is personality, it just seems to come out in a racial way because of each persons own view of racial tensions. I think that most black American's view her as the prettier of the two, but the amazing thing to me is that the white American's that I have spoken to seem to be divided. I will leave that topic open for someone else to delve into. I think they are both very attractive, but as I have said before, Michelle always gives me the impression that she wants to say something more. I don't care about color, there are many beautiful women of all nationalities.

I think that your point about women changing their looks is something all women do, regardless of color. Why else would there be a beauty industry that targets women of all ethnicity's? That is just simply a woman thing, but if you want to make a case that white women are trying to look like anyone, I would speculate that it is more the Hispanic or Latino skin tones and so forth that white women are going for and not black.

I see beautiful women in the world of all colors, what makes one more desirable than another, it is simply each persons preference and it can sometimes depend on the woman's personality or character. Reducing yourself to making racist statements belittles you and those you are trying to defend. Stating that the first lady has a pimple on her ass that has more class than Sarah Palin which would be an impossibility, just lets us know that it is you who have no class.
