Who is Libertarian Candidate Gary Johnson and what isn't the MSM telling us now ..

Gary Johnson has twice the gubernatorial experience of Mitt Romney, and he governed in a state a little closer to the political center. He has more experience than Barack Obama did when he ran for president in 2008. Johnson was permitted to debate in one of the many Republican match-ups, and did quite well (which makes you wonder why he was only invited to one).

A poll by the group "We Ask America" released on June 26 in Colorado shows a neck-and-neck race between Johnson and Obama. Obama leads 46 percent to 43 percent in this Western swing state, but it is within the margin of error. That makes this Rocky Mountain state a toss-up, right? But Johnson wasn't listed in the headlines of the poll.

It's the same story with a Rasmussen Reports poll. The June survey of Colorado voters shows both candidates knotted at 45 percent in the Centennial State. Johnson isn't mentioned.

When the Public Policy Polling results from June shows Obama with a 49 percent to 42 percent lead include Johnson in the mix the results show Obama leads 47 percent to 39 percent in Colorado, with Johnson picking up 7 percent points.

Now PPP polls lean left the way Rasmussen leans right. But they don't lean libertarian. Johnson's strength, where he is best known, could be a factor.

No doubt in my mind at all on who I am voting for should RP not get the nomination. Romney can't beat Obama and people should wake up! All he can do is outspend him.

Because the main stream media "news" lies to everyone. A lie is a lie whether it is reporting incorrect information or omitting it. They want to elect another president for us. If you can not see this you are blind.

This is what I think about MSM "news" and the "Ron Paul Blackout"

information omitting elect president blind msm news ron paul blackout

I care about Gary. A part of that is NOT caring for RINO's, which is all the Repubs have to offer, apparently. So I'll be working against the whole mass of the Dem-Rep monopoly.

Johnson doesn't get coverage because Ron Paul wasn't a fan of dissenting Libertarianism and made sure his networks didn't buoy Johnson above the radar like they did with Ron Paul in order to get media coverage.

Sometimes your lack of knowledge astounds me ... What's worse even when you are shown to be wrong you continue on this same mantra as if there is absolutely nothing between your ears.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."

Only one thing that I need to correct we tried to negotiate with OPEC in the 70"s on gas prices and they told us to go to. Then Nixon got drilling going here in the US. He made it so that there was no taxes on oil wells that came in during a period of time. He talked about a goal to be independent in 10 years from OPEC. Starting with Carter no President has helped to keep that promise.

"Gary Johnson is a relative unknown to most Americans. He's proven to be closer to center than any of the candidates other than Ron Paul.

Johnson is registered in all 50 states and instead of voting for Obama or Romney, two lying career politicians with almost no proven leadership between them, there remains a third option for Americans tired of all the "us vs them" right and left ignorance that has destroyed the power of this great nation... power built not by the right or left, but by the right and the left working together. "

    Awesome ... well said.

Romney is just Obama lite, so it really doesn't matter which one wins. I really wish people would stop saying that we need to beat Obama no matter what, even if we replace him with someone whose record is about the same, only on a smaller scale. I am, of course, talking about Romneycare. That is why I will vote my conscience and not vote for someone I don't support in the hopes of getting rid of Obama.

i vote principle in the primary. in the general, i survey the landscape and pick the best guy standing. Obama has failed. returning him is national suicide.

unfortunately, incumbents come with a small advantage. voting third party, writing in a candidate or staying at home serves to return the incumbent.

    that is intolerable.

give the new guy the chance. the old guy has had his shot.

seeing that none of the alternate candidates are drawing 1%, each, nationally, those 1% alternate votes come right out of Romney's hide.

that 'principle' is all Obama needs.
