Who is Dr. Carrol Quigley and why did Bill Clinton admire him?

Bill Clinton, in his first acceptance speech for President, dropped only one name and I recall how I almost came out of my chair when he did. Most Americans gave no notice to it, but red flags shot all over the room for me.
"My old professor and mentor, Dr. Carrol Quigley...." were his words. I will never forget them. This man who mentored and garnered the admiration of our president was the same man who wrote Tragedy and Hope, a 1,000 page plus tome extolling the virtues of world Communism and abhorring the tragedy of those who just don't get it and will be destroyed for fighting it.
What a man to look up to--especially as a President of these united States of America (or should I say AmeriKa?) As you probably know, Bill Clinton is a Rhodes Scholar, but do you know who Cecil Rhodes was and what he stood for? He, too, was an avowed Communist. In fact, the movement was so grateful for all he had done to further their goals that he had a country...a Communist country...named after him in honor of his efforts--Rhodesia.
So, what was Bill Clinton saying when he chose to drop only this one seemingly obscure name during his acceptance speech? Was it just an innocent 'thank you' nod to an educator or was it much more? Is it possible he was saying to those in the New World "Odor" movement that they shouldn't worry...that he was "one of them and it would go on with business as usual?"
That's what I suspect. And Americans are too ignorant to inform themselves, for the most part. They are led down the primrose path to their doom and enjoying all the pretty poppies while in the process of being drugged against what would be their will, if they only knew better.
The truth really is stranger than fiction. You don't have to make up things like this when it is recorded history. Wake up, Gulliver. You are being tied down and soon it will be too late.

+1"Capitalist Conspiracy", by G. Edward Griffin, talks about Quigley and his book, and you can find the video on google video. This documentary is still my favorite, because it tells so much in such a short time (47:06), including the founding of the "Order of the Illuminati" by Adam Weisaupt (Spartacus). Thanks for reading.reply -

+110-4. Yahweh has called me to be a "watchman on the wall". My first name, Gregory, means 'watchman'. He has also led me to be a 'library' for loaning videos, audios, and books regarding what is really happening in this land of foolishness. I met today with others here that are pulling out of the "system" and declaring Sovereignty. My email url is on my profile page if you are interested. Thanks for your time.reply -
