its not just the price of gas that kills its also the taxs Obama puts on the gas

it should actaully be the governmet or who ever make's everything more exspensive then what it is, it cause's people to raise up their prices

Obama but he is not 100% at at fault. Americans also have utilized the many creature comforts that use a lot of energy. Obama's biggest fault is not having a practical policy of energy independence.

We need to drill and create more gas on US soil vs relying on Iran and Iraq and other middle eastern countries... Gas prices have doubled since this administration has taken office... It must be their master plan for make you buy on of those VOLTS.. It's great to see government forcing people to buy what they don't want.. We need to get this guy out..

Actually prices are high in the US because of a failure to drill and open up refineries which in most cases in a democrat failure!

well, as of Friday, Feb. 17, my round-trip to work is prob 100 miles ... and i have ridden that distance before, but it takes time - 50 would take time - and i wouldn't get any work done ... i ride on the weekend ...

Demand for crude oil is at a fifteen year low, yet here we are paying higher and higher prices during the time of year when prices should be low.The funny part is this, energy and food prices are not factored when figuring inflation. You're correct that Obama hasn't been talking about the windfall profit tax for a while, and general concensus seems to be that with the GOP controlled House, it would never get passed anyway ( http://www.politifact.com/tru... ). Not a stretch to imagine that perhaps knowing this is what's stopping him from raising it at this point.
