If they just wanted a chicken sammich, they could just have chartered a plane, took her family, daddy and a film crew with her and and shot a chicken in a canned hunt - with Great Granpa Palin checking the sights and reloading for her - for about $14000, like she does when the meat freezer is low.

They did it IMO to show they believe that Chick-Fil-A has the right to say what they want to say. I could not agree more. I do plan on visiting the restaurant very soon. Good for them.
