The president just took out BinLaden, that says it all. Romeny's only experience is hiding his money in out of country bank accounts.

You don't collect unemployment if the firing is justifiable and the way things are in Washington they are jusifiable.
Obama is already making this a two class society Poor and Poorer with his banker and auto buddies being exempt from the culling.

Your personal experience does not change the numbers and numbers say that more people are unemployed under Obama.
I do not vote strict party lines I vote by the person.

So Bush was able to keep unemployment under 8 for the entire time he was in charge but orchestrate it so that once he was out of office it would spike up to 10 and stay at 9 for 2 years and there would be nothing the next president could do to stop it.
I did not realize you democrats credited him with that much intelligence. If he was able to do thaat he is a true financial genius.
What does that say about Obama.
    unprecednted failure

So the republican congress was able to keep the unemployment low but once the democrats got a majority it began to climb.
Yet More proof republibans are better than democrats at serving the people.
[ democrat majority in 2006 same time it started climbing]
    bad congress

Mitch McConnell (Ky.), reacting to press reports, said more stimulus spending was not the answer for the nation's economic ills. After the president’s speech, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) quickly released a statement that said the president was offering more of the same “failed” policies.

Basically what the republicans have been saying is 'pay for what you got before you spend any more'.
Obama has spent and spent but has no idea how to pay for the things he wants. You must give in order to get but instead if he doesn't get he P.E.O.'s it. So we get deeper and deeper in debt.

You can make all the xcuses for Obama you want but he took the responsibility and could not handle the job.
He is not the first nor will he be the last to have a contrary congress. He just had no experience to know how to handle them. Every president has had problems with congress even Clinton had problems with his democratic congress.
It's part of the job, one he was not and is not ready for.

More than 40 percent of Americans who actually are employed are now working in service jobs, which are often very low paying.
Approximately 21 percent of all children in the United States are living below the poverty line in 2010 - the highest rate in 20 years.
What do most Americans have to offer in the marketplace other than their labor? Not much. The truth is that most Americans are absolutely dependent on someone else giving them a job. But today, U.S. workers are "less attractive" than ever. Compared to the rest of the world, American workers are extremely expensive, and the government keeps passing more rules and regulations seemingly on a monthly basis that makes it even more difficult to conduct business in the United States.

So companies are moving out of the United States more and more. The more we try to 'tax the rich' the more that will move out.
    So what is the solution?.
Americans are the problem, I see people come here from other countries work 2 jobs stay 6 to haouse for years then open thier own shop, resturaunt, or business from the savings.
Why is this not happenning for Americans, is because we have become too lazy and expect the government to hand us everthing on a sliver platter. The rich got rich by making smart investments or working hard or both. Yet w...

The rich got rich by making smart investments or working hard or both. Yet when once they would have been admired for that accomplishment now they are instead demonized and blamed for the problems of those that are not willing to make sacrifices to get ahead.

Been there done that so no I don't but the ones that do that while buying stuff out of thier price range on credit while whinning about legal immagrants doing well and the government needs to give them more stuff YES.

    Totally agree.
The thing I liked about Clinton was that instead of just throwing more money into welfare he reformed the system getting people off that did not need it so that we could continue to take care of the people that did.
Much of what he did has been undone and needs to be re-instated.
But now when anyone talks about reforming or cutting welfare the knee jerk reaction is that the GOP is trying to starve children.

    Never doubted that.
The trick is to play the players by voting for the one that represents the job needed to be done at the time. Right now we need fiscal responsibility not more spending.
Every budget Obama and the democrats put forward in the last 4 years has had a stellar debt accompanying it so it is time to put a more restrained spender in to get it under control.

The offensive missiles discovered are an entirely different matter. The weapons are offensive in nature and definitely threatened peace in the region. They could have killed many civilians in surrounding countries. These WMD missiles were legally sold to Saddam by an irresponsible Western government seeking profit and influence. The sales strengthened the repressive regime of Saddam Hussein. They helped protect Saddam from international pressure and made international pressure against his government for killing his own people much less effective

See there were WMD's and Bush did know they were there because we sold them to Saddam.
Which is no surprise to me because I trained with Iraqi troops back in the 80's when we were friendly.

FACT: In June of 2006 the National Ground Intelligence Center, a Defense Department intelligence unit, released portions of a declassified report which stated unequivocally that "Since 2003, coalition forces have recovered approximately 500 weapons munitions which contain degraded mustard or sarin nerve agent."

FACT: In a January 2008 report on 60 minutes, top CIA operative George Piro revealed that Saddam Hussein had phased out his biological weapons program since the 90s but was willing to go to war with the U.S., beca...

FACT: In a January 2008 report on 60 minutes, top CIA operative George Piro revealed that Saddam Hussein had phased out his biological weapons program since the 90s but was willing to go to war with the U.S., because he needed to continue the illusion that he had an active WMD program, as a hedge against his arch enemy, Iran. He apparently had no idea that the U.S. was planning such an exhaustive offensive, or he would’ve reconsidered that strategy.

FACT: Saddam was planning on restarting his program on every level (nuclear and biological), approximately one year after U.N. sanctions were lifted. This explains why he was actively approaching North Africa for the procurement of yellow cake. This also explains why 550 metric tons of the stuff was removed from Iraq in 2008 courtesy of the United States of America
    http://mythoughtworld.com/142...

We knew he had WMD's partly because we and other allies of ours sold them or thier components to him. We also knew from intelligence he had bought or tried to buy the stuff we wouldn't sell him from others.

Yes we made the mistake of arming the taliban and Iraq.
But doesn't that also make us responsible for fixing our mistake?
In a way the war was just that, we created the problem and when they betrayed us and used them innapropriately we had to fix the problem we caused.

The genocidal maniac was still alive and in chage of the country once the UN restrictions were lifted he would have started all over again.
So on that one we will just have to agree to disagree.
I wanted him dead and would have done it myself if allowed to and most of the people I served with felt the same.

Like when a father and a boy were taken hostage in yemen and they used a drone attack to kil everyone; terrorist, father, and child.
‘You cannot call me lucky’ – drones injure over 1,100
The attack on September 7 2009 was aimed at a militant leader who was never there (see Ob34). But 15-year-old student Sadaullah paid a terrible price for survival, losing both legs and an eye in the strike.
