    Mr. Romney or staffers:

Now that Fred Thompson is out of the race, Mitt is our guy. We are a large group of conservative friends and families that want our party to stay to the right. That is the problem with all of the candidates, is that they tend to go to the center instead of to the right.

Also, I think it would be beneficial for Mitt to start showing off his family and their strong family values. His is a strong family man, with morals and family leadership.

He needs to talk more about his private sector, business success too, the fiscal responsbilities he has endured over his years as a business man.

My husband (46) and I (44) have 6 children (ages 19 to 13) and we believe in strong parental guidance, self-discipline and the importance of a good work ethic.

Have Mitt go on the offense and stay away from the "he said, she said" it's beneath him.

    WE WANT LEADERSHIP, not conformance.
AMERICA WANTS AND NEEDS a strong-tough, LEADER.

We love and have met President Bush, but he is getting soft at times and the conservative party is not what it used to be, unfortuately.

Follow your gut for business and hard work and I know you will prevail.

    Best of luck Mitt!!!!!!!!!!!

Huckabee is closet thing we have to a conservative. McCain and Romney are BOTH posers...they are NOT conservatives.

Being a POW for 5 years does NOT make on fit to be President...nor does being a flip-flopping Governor who USED to be pro-abortion and pro-gay marriage!!

Neither of these guys are conservatives. While I don't like some things about Huckabee....he is by FAR the best conservative.

Brit Hume described the attack by McCain and Huckabee on Mitt Romney, for allegedly supporting a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq and being dishonest.

McCain misquoted Romney and took it out of context when Romney had said several months ago that Bush and the Iraqi president should agree on a timetable for the turnover of various functions to the Iraqi arny, and specifically said that timetable was not for publication. He never called for a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq, but McCain nonetheless lied and claimed he did.

This morning on Fox News, Huckabee, being interviewed by Chris Wallace, jumped into the fray on McCain's side, reiterating the lie!

By the way, Mark, Ann Coulter, who is about as anti-abortion/anti-gay marriage as you can get, supports Mitt Romney. She says the Straight Talk Express is taking the scenic route!

I saw the interview as well, and Huckabee just refuses to bash McCain as the main stream media is trying to get him to do. Huckabee was on the receiving end on some dishonest campaigning in Iowa by Romney and was also called on it by the media. Give me a break, its all about politics and Romney will buy as many of your votes as he can. After all he has the money to do it.

I believe Romney and Huckabee are both sincere and trustworthy candidates. Romney has a much better understanding of the damage and cost of illegal immigration. Ron Paul is the only candidate in more than 20 years who has read the Constitution but he is like the crazy grandpa in the basement. McCain is a non-vote for me, as I will stay home before I cast my ballot for the republican version of Hillary.

Note the progression: In 2000 I voted for Bush, in 2004 I voted Libertarian, in 2006 I stayed home from the polls. In 2008 if Ron Paul does not win the GOP nomination I will vote for Hillary. Economy, Healthcare, Immigration, & National Security are all important to U.S. but only National Security is essential to all of them. Without that, the economy is gone, without which the other two are bankrupt. It is essential that McCain be our choice. With a strong Defense, the others will all come around. VOTE FOR JOHN McCAIN!

This country needs a conservative. A true conservative on both MORAL issues and FISCAL issues... A compromise we cannot afford is this: choosing McCain because he is a war hero (but unfortunately has caused serious injury to conservatives due to his consistant siding with liberals .. on very important issues), or choosing Huckabee because he was a Baptist preacher. believe me, I get it... I was excited about him until I looked at his record (I'm in full time ministry and I like that he is a believer, but his fiscal record is NOT conservative...don't just give your vote away because he's christian... think about the issues...) Both of those choices are a compromise of what we as conservatives believe. THE GOVERNMENTS JOB IS TO PROTECT US FROM ENEMIES BOTH FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC... It is not supposed to give hand outs, (the CHURCH is supposed to be taking care of widows and orphans, in other words those who are in need.)the Govt. should not get involved with our everyday lives to the point that it takes away our basic freedoms. A government that is big enough to give you everything you want is one that is big enough to take everything you have. I'm a Christian who unapolegetically loves and serves Jesus... BUT I will not put my stamp on a candidate just because he is a Christian or was once a pastor. Sure I disagree with Gov. Romney's theology, but we are electing a President not a Sunday School Teacher. I urge everyone to think long and hard about that. The words written below says it best,
I would again like to encourage folks to take another look at Mitt Romney. Romney's savvy and integrity sets him apart from all candidates in the field. His politics are that of the American people He has not spent the last 20 years in D.C. He understands and humbly respects the American Constitution, and the American Dream of ALL Americans. He is not a sound-bite candidate, but a man with a plan. He is a man that understands the meaning of hard work. Whether you agree with his religion or not he is a God fearing virtuous man, who humbly respects the humanity in all of us, and should earn the respect of all of us. Those who criticize him and scorn him are the ones who are blinded by their own limited greed for power or jealous of what he has attained due to his hard work. Romney is simply the best candidate out there. We should all know by now what the cost of listening to political propaganda is. Don't let yourself be fooled by fear, hatemongering, and the powerful interest of certain groups. Hope is good, but waiting for a check in the mail is not what good government is. It is about all of us working together to raise our quality of life, for caring for our children, our elderly, and our sick. It is about a candidate who is passionate, compassionate, and has strength of heart. Mitt Romney is Presidential Material. In a field of many there is a President, and others who think they are. It is not enough to want to be President, you must have vision, intellect, charisma, honesty, and a sound social and more than a band-aid economic plan. Mitt Romney is the only Republican I would vote for.

Ephesians 6 and many other places in the Bible, tell us that we are in a spiritual battle and we must fight the battle with spiritual weapons. So I pray and look for God's guiding as much as possible. That's why I wrote that Huckabee is the only TRUE PRO-LIFE candidate who can hopefully guide our nation into a righteous place spiritually....we cannot continue to murder innocents and expect to continue long as a nation "under God". The most important aspect of this, and any other election, is the spiritual aspect and as Christians we must pray and vote accordingly.
I don't expect most people to understand, but I'm replying to you because I believe you are spiritually minded. Pray Pray Pray

Just because Huckabee is the only one who wears his religion on his sleeve doesn't mean he is the only one who believes in Christ. He just uses it to get attention. In my opinion he's using Christ as a political tool. How shameful. You don't think Mitt doesn't pray every night. I know a lot of Mormons, and believe me. They are Christian. Don't go voting for Huckaboo just because he screams Jesus and then doesn't have a clue about foreign policy or anything to do with the presidency for that matter. God doesn't want you to make a dumb decision just because you think some ignorant candidate is the best because he'll talk about Jesus. He wants you to make a smart decision based upon the facts. Fact: Romney is the most qualified AND a Christian who doesn't use Christ as a crutch to get him into offic.

Mitt has quite a history of supporting same sex marriages as Governor of Mass. His Health program for Mass includes a co-pay of $50. He ordered clerks to issue same sex marriage licenses or get fired - when he was not under an order by law to do so.

Romney, a one term governor, Huckabee 8 years as governor re-elected against the Clintons several times in a democratic state. Don't know what you read, but even the democrats voted for him here in Arkansas. Not sure what you're talking about on his record, but we don't call him reverend Huckabee, its Governor Huckabee. I saw my kids school go to numer 8 in the state, the same school I grew up in, and our schools are some of the most improved along with our roads. All the low and middle income kids now have access to healthcare under the ARKids first program. I think you are misinformed.
