.....not wishful thinking, but if Mitt doesn't start acting like he wants to win he'll lose just like McCain did.
On the other hand, Obama has a A LOT of aces in the hole with all the stimulus money he has spread out all over the world, and his almost constant fundraising. It's rumored that he'll drop Biden and pick up Hillary...in which case he probably won't live very long. Her machine has a way of getting her what she wants....which is HER in the oval orafice.

For one reason only. People see Obama as a man of conviction, and Romney as a basically nothing/flip-flopper. Obama isn't afraid to say what he thinks: Romney never says what he thinks.

I believe Mitt will win. Obama has disappointed so many people here lately with his shenanigans and disregard for our laws and constitution, he won't be able to bs enough people this time. As a 76 year old man who has followed politics very closely, first as a Democrat then as a Conservative Republican, I really think Newt would have made an excellent president. But...oh, well...

Mitt Romney was a corporate predator...and he was good at it. Let the corporations eat each other alive...who cares? If he expresses 'remorse' then I will be disappointed in him but I will still vote for him. I want him on America's side in the future that awaits us. Mitt Romney is a winner; and it's time we had a winner in the white house. We are in dark waters now and we need a shark to lead us through. When he has served his purpose then we will do what comes natural....you know.. like england did to churchhill.

Keeping in mind that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, lets band together as an average middle class americans. It's difficult to unify when the first thing you do to someone is insult them by assuming that they have done nothing and that what you have done is far greater than they have.

Some talk may be cheap, for example suggesting others to do something such as band together without offering ideas on how to do so. Its not as easy as saying, "Can't we all just get along?" People are manipulated by words, yes they become more powerful when backed up by actions but look at politicians for example they use words all the time to manipulate others regardless of what their actions have been.

I simply would not vote for any politician based primiarily on some of their individual speaches of which are in most cases in a general format. It's a matter of comparing them to my feelings and make the comparision. In other words I simply did not vote for Obama, based on him being a person of color, it's the big picture. Nor would I expect each voter to contact directly with each other.
