Of the two mains, it doesn't matter. IF, by some 'miracle', Ron Paul gets the GOP nomination, then he has the best chance of winning, which is why Obama would suspend the "elections".

The Reagan Banks and Wall Street's brokerages will win, as they have for the past 30+ years, for they have control of the system and most of the Congressional seats. Now, they are "people", just like you and me, obviously entitled to all the benefits of being "people", like being able to "influence" those who represent them. Difference between they and you is they are "represented" by dozens of Congressmen and Senators and you by only two or three. Get the picture? Obama and Romney are just totems, spokesmen for those who really matter. Unless you have a net worth of more than $100Million and generously donate to one of the major parties you simply don't really matter at all.

It will be a squeaker but I hope Romney wins. There will be a massive media propaganda effort to re sell the O-BatEars. The wealthy liberal progressive elitist movement will do and say anything to get their boy re elected. This will be an ugly mean election.

Had the Bush trend been going, it would've gone up $7 billion. You can't fix a budget in 4 years, you can't fix it in 8 either, unless you cut medicare and social security forever. I hope you aren't suggesting that. If you don't see progress in 3.5 million jobs created, in the Dow back to pre-recession levels, and with 34 million people who weren't insured before ACA will be when the law takes effect in 2014, then YOU'RE the one your head up your ass. You see that the debt went up 5 billion, but fail to realize it was projected to go up 7. You see the part of the picture that supports your views and only that part of the picture.

"You see that the debt went up 5 billion, but fail to realize it was projected to go up 7."

Five TRILLION, as in, $5,000,000,000,000. And your argument of "projection" is absolutely flawed as I will explain below.

"Had the Bush trend been going, it would've gone up $7 billion. You can't fix a budget in 4 years, you can't fix it in 8 either, unless you cut medicare and social security forever."

No not really... where the country really began going into the sh*tter was after the 2006 midterms. If anyone with working eye in politics knows what has happened since then, the Democrats took COMPLETE control of Congress (hello, that's the BUDGET too!). Just look at the budgets since then. Up until 2010, if Democrats didn't like what Republicans had to offer (which happened quite a bit), they could simply vote against them. They had such a majority trifecta from 2009-2011 that it wasn't even funny. And of course, HAD the budget even been IMPROVED, NOT worsened to a $1.5 trillion budget deficit, HAD ObamaCare been so great as you tout, HAD the progressive political machine been successful in trashing Republicans in Bush, YOUR buddies wouldn't have suffered HISTORIC losses in the House to Republicans in 2010.

The reason the Obama budget was shot down was because Speaker Boehner let only the numbers be presented, not what those numbers were going to. No one would vote on something they can't see. With the 2006 mid-terms until 2008, the Bush tax cuts, which cut revenue tremendously, had already been passed and weren't going to expire until 2009. You can't balance a budget with no revenue. And you say Obamacare isn't so great...it hasn't taken effect yet. It won't until 2014. Only a few portions have, and those were the ones not allowing insurance agencies to cut patients because of major conditions or pre-existing conditions.

Then please explain why DEMOCRAT Harry Reid wouldn't even bring Obama's budget onto the Senate floor. It would've been a complete EMBARRASSMENT if he did so, because no way in hell is Obama's budget economically feasible.

" With the 2006 mid-terms until 2008, the Bush tax cuts, which cut revenue tremendously, had already been passed and weren't going to expire until 2009. You can't balance a budget with no revenue."

LOL. "No revenue"? The problem with the progressive-liberal ideology is that it looks to spending to solve the problem. We do not have a "revenue" problem. We have a SPENDING problem, and it is for a variety of reasons, the biggest of which is ENTITLEMENT spending. Just look at our current budget.

"And you say Obamacare isn't so great...it hasn't taken effect yet. It won't until 2014."

The problem with ObamaCare is its SUBSTANCE... and it will only get WORSE in 2014. The individual mandate, the federal government FORCING every man woman and child to purchase a product, is not only a major overstep of government that is unconstitutional, it will severely hurt small businesses...

Obamacare actually gives tax breaks to small businesses who provide insurance, so it's beneficial to the small company to do so now. Also, the government (on state level) requires you to buy car insurance, and car plates. Now to federal level, you must buy loan insurance for loans. And even if you don't buy it, there is no death penalty, no jail time, no fine, nothing but only slightly higher taxes, not even 1% more. And what is bad about health insurance. Every American wants insurance, they just either can't afford it or can't be covered because of pre-existing condition, so that tiny tax increase would effect very few if any at all. Taxes go up and down all the time, but no one complains then, unless you count the Teabaggers (whose 98% of members' taxes have gone DOWN since Obama took office).

I actually don't watch MSNBC. ANd the same goes for you and Fox. No it didn't, Obama made cuts in other parts of the budget to equal the cost of Obamacare. And larger companies have PLENTY of money, the cost to insure their employees would not take any dip in their massive profits. Doesn't every American deserve health insurance? We have the worst health care system in the developed world, and the ACA is a giant step forward.

Of course every American DESERVES health care, but health care costs something called MONEY! It's not free, it's quite expensive, and getting government OUT of medicine is what will help bring costs DOWN.

Then you have misunderstood where I stand. I'm not a radical libertarian advocating for a 100% laissez faire economy. That doesn't solve anything. BUT, the regulations we have now, like the 35% capital gains tax which is now THE HIGHEST in the world, can definitely be lowered. Just one instance of unnecessary regulation that is hurting our job creators, and in turn, prolonging economic growth.

"Insurance could deny coverage to anyone for any reason whatsoever."

So? Go to another company. That's the beauty of competition and the free market. If one company is going to be an idiotic ass and not cover folks, another company certainly has the means to cater to those consumers. But of course, when government gets in the way, that competition starts to become nonexistent. Because, we've had government intervention since God knows when. Our system hasn't gotten better. It's getting worse.
