When the choice is two identical liars, you might as well stick with the incumbent if you're even going to play the game.

Look at the current vote results very carefully. This is how strong Romney is people--not very. If Paul doesn't upset the GOP Convention, I feel sorry for the U.S. people.

With all the voter fraud and the pressuring of delegates, it wouldn't surprise me, but neither would being paid off for a son getting the VP nod or a Cabinet position either. Anything is possible if the people voting make it possible.

Ron Paul never actually wanted to be President. If he did he wouldn't have ignored whole states or cozied up to Romney while his own son endorsed the man. From the looks of it, Ron wants his son to be President or at least a heavy hitter in the party. I feel sort of bad for his supporters to be honest.

What he has done or how he has been ignored and put down by the media and the Party is not showing that the elite or high party GOP would favor that. The Delegates are suing to expose all the guerilla tactics that the Romney Campaign has used, and the Convention might be a free-for-all if they win. Whether Paul intended to do this or not, he started a movement, and if trying to suck up now for his son was his intent, it is too little, too late. Not to mention that Rand just allied himself with the enemy in everyone's mind, so that will not help him in future elections either. Poorly played, if that was his intent because he alienated his supporters as well as trying to join a camp that is hostile to him. I don't think so, I just think he really thought that he would get as much support as he had in 2008, and this surprised him, so he was not monetarily or Politically ready for it--that and he believed what the media was reporting(naive), but that is my opinion.

LOL, if it was up to the media and Romney's lack of faith in his Country and his President, no one would win. However, since it is up to the people's vote, the People will win by voting for Barack H. Obama, the clear choice to a brighter future for the American People. Barack will roll up his sleeves and continue doing what he can to make a difference and leave this world better for all our children. The people will make sure Mr. Romney does not get the opportunity to Raid our recovering Country like he has our vulnerable Corporations profiting no one but him. It is quite disgusting to watch President Obama running around like a chicken with his neck off making sure we have affordable Health Care, an opportunity to send our children to College, and consumer protection while Romney runs around with over a $150 Million dollars in his pocket doing nothing for us mocking what our President has done to recover our economy, our education system, our Health Care System, and our Hope for tomorrow being brighter. Mr Romney is laughing all the way to the bank at the American People's struggle while Mr. Obama is out here in the trenches with us. No my friend. The press, the Gop, and Mr. Romney will not win. Throughout history, there have been more or less legendary heroes fighting for freedom and for same rights, also for the weaker ones - maybe that they were something like socialists. Jesus preached solidarity, tolerance and altruism. He was the victim of human violence, fanatism and intolerance. The Apostles were considered to be the first communists and the only ones. What you call communism or socialism in the times of the iron curtain and before was more or less a form of imperialism or dictatorship, as there was always a privileged upper class or nomenclatura or "junta" and the majoritarian lower classes or plebs controlled by them. That resembles most of the ancient and present forms of governance, even if a certain illusion of democracy was pretended. Even present democracy cannot grant same rights to everybody, as privileged people, parties or companies have too much influence on economy, mentality and employment.

Great point, Marianne. CNN suggests today polls show other Countries have a 62% more favorability rate of America since President Obama took over. Some would argue his drone policy in taking out our enemies and terrorist who would kill us to look at us is wrong. I would argue better to let President Obama protect our Country from them by any means necessary instead of letting them get us. And more importantly, 62% of the American people agree. Knowing my children are safer under President Obama than a man like Romney siding with our enemies who want to be able to terrorize us without consequences is enough by itself to march me to the polls on 11/6/2012 to cast my vote for the re-election of President Obama who is not afraid to terrorize the terrorists who killed our families on September 11th. All is fair in love and war Drones killing terrorist

Spain, Poland and Italy are also positive, as well as many other European countries (no figures were given). Fighting terrorism and organised crime is also a matter of great concern in all Europe and also elsewhere ...

You're welcome - as a European, I believe in sustainable economy and in the respect of human rights. I cannot understand why throughout history, the same big errors are being repeated. Most investors claimed too high interest rates, stock quotations were artificially raised and dropped and lots of bigger and smaller enterprises pushed into bancrupcy. Big multinational companies bought smaller, sound enterprises to close down their rivals or delocate production sites toward developing countries with low salaries. As a consequence, the number of SME's dropped considerably, unemployed and working poor grew drastically everywhere, and right-winged governments spoke of a financial crisis, but they had no valuable solutions to propose. So, the new governments, including a few left-winged ones, can try to stick together the broken fragments and find out how to save and rebuild again a collapsed economy. There is much doubt about the issue.
But hope is least to die - I am praying that the new findings, technologies and the growing concern for our environment and for social matters will open new opportunities for all.

Cool, and the Affordable Care Act was upheld by the Supreme Court and our taxes on our student loans were not doubled and the threads of life were discovered. Things are looking up. I think that in spite of all the resistences, there will be some progress.
Now, news concentrate on the discovery of the Higgs boson at the CERN, and Higgs in person could assist the verification of his theory. The TdF is in course, Wimbledon expects the semi-finals, and politics in all that?

You said it very nicely "with the vessel by which we can prosper".
You must be a poet and a good writer - and I love poetry and languages.

I know, it is a mess with all these polemics and half truths and religious fanatisms spread by more or less influenced media.

We may be dreamers, but we know that cooperation, emancipation, solidarity and mutual respect are essential for the survival of our multicultural society.

Yes, I enjoy writing, but my writing talents have nothing to do with the vessel by which we can prosper. God is using President Obama as that vessel by which we can prosper. God told me four years ago that President Obama would be the next President and I needed to help. While I do not consider myself a fanatic, I do know God and understand his words and live my life accordingly. Because I listened to my God, He gave me my President to lead and guide my family to the promised lands of our dreams.
