Z, Romney is no longer saying "I will repeal Obamacare my second day as POTUS". NOW he is saying: "I will work to repeal Obamacare". Quite a difference, actually. It took 13 years to repeal prohibition.

In the long run, I think Mitt Romney has the upper hand. The reason is that people now know that the president blatantly lied when trying to pass his signature legislation. He said it was not a tax, and it turned out that it is a tax. He also has angered many people by invoking Executive Privilege to block an investigation into an operation the White House said they had no knowledge of or any involvement in. He has broken his promise to be transparent. He has broken his promise to be a different kind of politician. He told us on Thursday that he passed Obamacare for the people's interests, but really only did so to fulfill Democrats' dream of passing such a law at any cost. The irony is that they never would have passed it if they had called it a tax when they were debating it in Congress. The anger so many feel over these issues will bring them to the polls and likely defeat the president in November.

I don't think they can just go into your personal account without your consent. That would not sit well with anyone, and would not pass for fear of an uprising. I'm not that cynical. But it is clear that the law has been ruled only constitutional as a tax. Whether the president likes it or not, the people now know it is a tax. Now it remains to be seen if the people will accept this new tax. If they can go into your account at all, it would be under the same legal means that they can withdraw your taxes. But I'm sure they will be required to notify you that this is being done and how much they plan to withdraw should you not pay the "penalty." I doubt this is expressly for campaign funding, although it is possible that some money meant to pay for the new health program will be shifted to other areas. That is the problem with big massive government plans like this. They always find ways to shift the money elsewhere, thereby underfunding their "mandate." I don't see why this will be any different.
