Who Do You Think Currently Has the Upper Hand in the 2012 Election?

I believe that in America there is still a slightly higher majority of individuals who still believe in what made us great. That there are just enough who believe in good family values, economic health so that we can continue to pay for the safety nets to help the poor and truly needy. And contrary to what Liberals have been brainwashed into believing, most conservatives are people who help those who really need the help. They believe that teaching a man to fish instead of giving a man a fish so that he can go on with the skills to feed his family and him self is better than giving him charity for life. Better than making him dependent on a government that may not be able to continue to support him or begin to tell him how to live because of the support. People come here because it is a place where if we have a good idea and are willing to work hard that we can succeed and provide a good life for our families and our selves. Yes, not every one has the same advantage and it is not a level playing field. It isn't in any society, not even in the fabled Utopian society. But get over it and keep trying until you succeed and never stop until you have. How many are out there who are saying "it not fair" and don't even try ? What kind of thinking is it that " I'll just wait until Obama takes it from someone else and gives ti to me" I Obama, a black man who came from poverty can become president then I'd say this is a really great place to be. And since it is such a great place where he can become president then why is he so intent on changing it to be like Europe? Many of the people who voted for him did so because he said what they wanted to hear, he did that so that he could get in and change America to Socialist Europe. Trying to change the very thing that made it possible for him to be where he is today. Why?

I could never express enough appreciation for your service in the military, I am forever grateful. The very day Obama was elected Speaker Boehner expressed to the newly placed president that he and the republicans of both the house and senate looked forward to working with him from that day on. Do you know what Obama told Speaker Boehner? He said " WORK WITH YOU? I WON!!!" Now I will concede that both sides won't give a single iota of concession. But it is clearly not one side playing that game. I do give Obama credit for saying yes to allow the mission to go forward to kill Osama but I am dumbfounded to think that anyone would think that Bush wouldn't have said yes in the same situation.

Perhaps you might consider the following: The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At the time:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.7.
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH
Remember the day...January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA
And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 &2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.

This literally scares me to death, to see the amount of people who do not see who are what this man is, but they must be the ones living off government, the takers from the producers. The main stream media is responsible for a lot of this. They twist and spin facts and leave information out, yet they get you full of hate for someone like Palin or Romney. I guess this is why you don't see all the evil that Obama has perpetrated on this country that he hates. He lies constantly, the clips that prove it over and over we see all the time or remember him saying one thing and then lying about it. He has caused more division in this country, spent more money, is illegal due to his Father's nationality, trashed the Constitution, cheated with Acorn, there are so many stupid, embarrassing things, you can't even begin to remember them all!

If someone disagrees about Obama, people pull the lame race card. If they do, they are the racist because they focus on his black side and NEVER mention his white side. He had an opportunity to unite people but has done just the opposite. Yes, unfortunately, some people are shallow and are prejudice over color, race or religion, but it should not be, do not lump everyone together just because some of us do not like his character or ideologies. Gender, color, and race should have nothing to do with this, we are all human beings.

We are going to send Obama fans out with Obama to look for those 7 missing states he thinks exist and please don't come back until you find them.

Red. Thank-you for the complement. But actually, I am motivated by the teachings of this another spiritual leader. You may have heard of him. His name was Jesus. He had some really insightful teachings, for those that happened to pay attention to what he had so say (as opposed to those who followed him and conveniently ignore his teachings.

When it comes to the use of violence, he shared God's view of this particular human activity. For you, see, Jesus is thought to be the "Son of God." So, you see, as God's spokesperson, he shared God's wisdom.

Jesus' words about violence is expressed when he was arrested. In case you didn't know, he was killed. Any way, here's what Jesus said about resorting to violence:

"Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword."

What's interesting in this passage is Jesus claims that any one who draws a sword will die by the sword. And I think you can agree that the sword represents violence because it is a human tool for killing. So, here's the challenge. If Jesus was the Son of God, and could tell no lies or make no mistaken judgements, how could he make that claim? Surely even back then there were soldiers that died of old age!?

The answer is that Jesus is telling us that when one resorts to violence against our fellow humans, we die spiritually.
