There was no third choice, but there should have been. Obviously, it's the illuminati who have the upper hand, as the one thing that is guaranteed, is that one of their two puppets will be pResident.

    1. The "wars" will continue to kill our kids for corporate profit (not freedom)
    2. The money will still be made out of thin air by banks
    3. Glass-Steagel will not be reinstated
    4. Posse Comitatus will not be reinstated
    5. Miranda rights will not be reinstated
    6. TSA will not be disbanded
    7. The border will still be wide open
    8. The current invasion of our country will continue
    9. The income tax laws will not be properly enforced
    10. The CIA will continue to pretend that Al Qaida isn't the CIA
    11. A real investigation of 9-11 will not happen
    12. Israel will continue to run the United States into bankruptcy and finally local war

So you see, the upper hand is really held by these clowns' controllers.

Wake up and smell the Colombian Coffee!

I believe that in America there is still a slightly higher majority of individuals who still believe in what made us great. That there are just enough who believe in good family values, economic health so that we can continue to pay for the safety nets to help the poor and truly needy. And contrary to what Liberals have been brainwashed into believing, most conservatives are people who help those who really need the help. They believe that teaching a man to fish instead of giving a man a fish so that he can go on with the skills to feed his family and him self is better than giving him charity for life. Better than making him dependent on a government that may not be able to continue to support him or begin to tell him how to live because of the support. People come here because it is a place where if we have a good idea and are willing to work hard that we can succeed and provide a good life for our families and our selves. Yes, not every one has the same advantage and it is not a level playing field. It isn't in any society, not even in the fabled Utopian society. But get over it and keep trying until you succeed and never stop until you have. How many are out there who are saying "it not fair" and don't even try ? What kind of thinking is it that " I'll just wait until Obama takes it from someone else and gives ti to me" I Obama, a black man who came from poverty can become president then I'd say this is a really great place to be. And since it is such a great place where he can become president then why is he so intent on changing it to be like Europe? Many of the people who voted for him did so because he said what they wanted to hear, he did that so that he could get in and change America to Socialist Europe. Trying to change the very thing that made it possible for him to be where he is today. Why?

    Larry M.,
I am surprised that you can see no further than your nose. You really need to take a look at who got the country that I love so much in the situation that we are in. President Obama has tried to work with the Republicans for the majority of his term to no avail. Everything that the president has tried to get pass the house has been blocked. Members of the Republican party vowed to make him a one term president even before he took his seat behind the desk in the oval office. When people say thing like that, they have no intentions of giving a person a chance to lead. Bush said he did not care about Osama, he did not know where he was. Bush led us into Iraq with no purpose in mind. President Obama took the chance of a lifetime as president to capture and kill Osama.

Larry, I could go on and on, but in reading your comments I can see that you would not get the picture. One of the other things that make this nation great is that as a veteran, I assisted in the face that you have the right to voice you thoughts and ideas. God speed.

I could never express enough appreciation for your service in the military, I am forever grateful. The very day Obama was elected Speaker Boehner expressed to the newly placed president that he and the republicans of both the house and senate looked forward to working with him from that day on. Do you know what Obama told Speaker Boehner? He said " WORK WITH YOU? I WON!!!" Now I will concede that both sides won't give a single iota of concession. But it is clearly not one side playing that game. I do give Obama credit for saying yes to allow the mission to go forward to kill Osama but I am dumbfounded to think that anyone would think that Bush wouldn't have said yes in the same situation.

Perhaps you might consider the following: The day the democrats took over was not January 22nd 2009, it was actually January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress. The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is "Bush's Fault", think about this:
January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At the time:

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At the time:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.7.
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
    The Unemployment rate was 4.6%
George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH
Remember the day...January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.
The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!
Unemployment... to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie - starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.
And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? OBAMA
And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?
    OBAMA and the Democrat Congress

So when someone tries to blame Bush..
REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007.... THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!"
Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 &2011.
In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20th.

With total control of both the house and senate for the 1st 2 years, he still has cried that he has been blocked, even though it was members of his own party blocking his agenda. Romney is ahead in the polls by almost 8%, if you add 80% of the 6% undecideds (because they always break for the challenger) and subtract 5% for Obama's highly organized swing state voter fraud - you get Romney by 7.8%. PS. The swing state count will rise, Wisconsin is proof.

People are affraid the Republican party will vote down Social Security after they have paid into it all their lives. For most people thats all they have to look forward to because our government didn't protect our retiremment and 401K's. Also the Democrates will vote Obama-nation back in because they are out there in droves fighting for him while our news organizations are hiding his criminal acts. Then you have the kids still drinking the cool-aid....See what Obama is up to now with AMERICAN jobs..Obama-nation was bought off by corperate America to send American jobs off-shore and hasn't seen a "TA' bill he hasn't signed, or an illegal he hasn't given amnisty to. (Including his aunt and uncle.) See what our president is doing with AMERICAN jobs now..Read this web site to see what your government is doing to your job and OUR America...

This literally scares me to death, to see the amount of people who do not see who are what this man is, but they must be the ones living off government, the takers from the producers. The main stream media is responsible for a lot of this. They twist and spin facts and leave information out, yet they get you full of hate for someone like Palin or Romney. I guess this is why you don't see all the evil that Obama has perpetrated on this country that he hates. He lies constantly, the clips that prove it over and over we see all the time or remember him saying one thing and then lying about it. He has caused more division in this country, spent more money, is illegal due to his Father's nationality, trashed the Constitution, cheated with Acorn, there are so many stupid, embarrassing things, you can't even begin to remember them all!

If someone disagrees about Obama, people pull the lame race card. If they do, they are the racist because they focus on his black side and NEVER mention his white side. He had an opportunity to unite people but has done just the opposite. Yes, unfortunately, some people are shallow and are prejudice over color, race or religion, but it should not be, do not lump everyone together just because some of us do not like his character or ideologie...

He has lied to us so many times and now he signed an executive order to prevent Holder from telling the truth. He's wasting our money and even more people are without jobs than when he started. The 4 million jobs he touts still leave us with less jobs than when he took office. If he gets reelected, he will bankrupt our country.

I know Jim Dimint and the Koch Bros and the corporations of 14 vowed to block everything Obama tries to do (remember, these are people who served criminal time for fraud and other misled intentions during the Bush administration). And I know Boehner,Cantor, McConnel have mucked up the jobs bill for fear of taxing the very rich....who should be taxed...to pay for it and they want to crush social security and rob it, like what happened in 2008 with the bank bailouts and insurance bailouts. I know I, as an old republican, owe my arch enemy, the COMMUNIST CHINESE something to the tune of 2 trillion dollars for two wars. I know I'm not blind. With the Conservative's moneyed and concerted effort to remove "democratic" from our Democratic Republic, I fear that Romney has the upper hand.

    That is my pessimistic side.

I see from the tally that more think that Barack Obama does. Part of me hopes those guys are right. The other part of me agrees with MediaMike (see his comments below). By any measure other than the far right, by electing Obama, we are electing a moderate Republican:

    1. We got a Republican health insurance program instead of the Single Payer.

    2. We still deficit spend primarily because of military spending.

    3. The criminals that lied us into a war in Iraq remain free and uncharged of their crimes.

    4. American citizens are still sentenced to death without due process and innocents are still killed as American drones work off entries on "kill lists." See http://reason.com/blog/2012/0...

    5. We still violate our own ideals--as laid out in the constitution--in Guantanamo Bay and other dark prisons. What? These principle are not worthy of being applied to all citizens of the human race?

What's interesting in this passage is Jesus claims that any one who draws a sword will die by the sword. And I think you can agree that the sword represents violence because it is a human tool for killing. So, here's the challenge. If Jesus was the Son of God, and could tell no lies or make no mistaken judgements, how could he make that claim? Surely even back then there were soldiers that died of old age!?

The answer is that Jesus is telling us that when one resorts to violence against our fellow humans, we die spiritually.

So I signed the petition. Here's what I posted on the optional comment: This is a challenge to Red and other Christians to live into and live by Jesus' words from Matthew 5: 9: Blessed are the Peacemakers.

Go for it! We can get a real movement going!

    Red: Back to Obama.

As you know, he and our military and CIA are murdering people using drones.

So I found another opportunity for you and me to live into our shared values as taught by Jesus. Here is a petition that we Christians can sign asking that the murder using the modern version of the sword (See http://www.biblegateway.com/p... ).

Steady head??? You don't see all the evil that Obama has perpetrated on this country that he hates? He lies constantly, the clips that prove it over and over we see all the time or remember him saying one thing and then lying about it. He has caused more division in this country, spent more money, is illegal due to his Father's nationality, trashed the Constitution, cheated with Acorn, there are so many stupid, embarrassing things, you can't even begin to remember them all! And do not pull the lame race card. If you do, YOU are the racist because you focus on his black side and NEVER mention his white side. He had an opportunity to unite people but has done just the opposite. Yes, unfortunately, some people are shallow and are prejudice over color, race or religion, but it should not be, do not lump everyone together just because some of us do not like his character or ideologies. Gender, color, and race should have nothing to do with this, we are all human beings. We are going to send you out with Obama to look for those 7 missing states he thinks exist and please don't come back until you find them.

Obama has done MORE for the average WORKING AMERICAN middle-class citizen than ANY Republican in history! His Health Reform Bill placed over 30 MILLION more people with Health Insurance and eliminated the Big Insurance "Death Panels"! Equal pay for women? Yes, while objected to by Republicans! Equal rights for women and gays in general; Yes on both counts! Romney will no doubt have more cash but he has no moral fibre or soul. He doesn't give a crap about WORKING FOLKS, only his rich friends!
