But it will not matter. Obama can beat both of them. It will be a very close race.

I don't think it matters, but the nominee will be Mitt. The GOP bosses have already temporarily falsified election results in Iowa to make him look like a winner and they'll do whatever they need to to make him the winner. They count the votes and they've proven they'll just make something up if they don't like the real winner.

I'm not going to be voting for any of them, but I can't believe that it's ok with republican voters that they announced a winner before they counted the votes in Iowa, and it took them eighteen days to count roughly 100,000 votes? Then when the votes are counted, it turns out they picked the wrong winner?

If the rest of the GOP primaries are as dishonest and incompetent as the Iowa caucuses are, what's the point of holding them?

Ron Paul, but, will the GOP allow the media to tell the truth is the real question!

Gingrich reminds me of a loud-mouthed, crude Cheney.
Romney makes me wonder if he has any character.
    Pair of culls, IMO.

He was my senator. He's a crazy man. That's why he lost his last election here by 18%. I'm sorry but when I see someone supporting him I have to wonder, why? Is it his pro life stance? I'm pro life. Is it that he wants to outlaw all contraseptives? Now that's crazy. Just like the Catholic church of which I belong. If abortions are to be stopped completely contraseptives will be a huge part of that process. My church is still living in the dark ages. They are a main reason abortions are happening by being against contraseption.

I wonder if that's the same family i saw on tv? They had like close to 20 kids and were thinking of another one. I have two and i thank God for them. If I had more it wouldn't be fair to the children. I have as many as i can afford and could give my time too. i had two boys playing baseball at the same time. One in t-ball and one in jr. high. I'd drive 10 miles to watch some of the older one's games and then drive back for my younger sons game. I'd drive and drop off my wife at work then go to my sons practice. My wife worked 2ed shift and I worked night shift 11:30 pm to 8:00 am. I couldn't handle any more children.

My grandmother was 4'10" tall and gave birth to 16 kids. 9 lived. My aunt from NJ called here today. I know she loves me and i love her but she is like Rush Limbaugh jr. He can say and do no wrong and Obama can say and do nothing right. So we argue, alot. My brother-in-law is a gay hater. They in his opinion are the root of all evil in the world. My sister-in-law is like my aunt. Obama hater. She works at a defense plant and every time they slow down it's the democrats fault. She doesn't realize that when we were fighting two wars and bombing alot she had alot of work. They make the electronics for bombs. It sounds like your Papa Harld really loved you alot, and his beer too as did my father. LOL I always hated beer, the taste never did it for me. I like 7&7's and vodka and orange juice but i quit drinking nearly 35 years ago at the age of 24. Only a small glass of red wine on New Year's and about one every 3 months after that is what I drink today. At my 40th class reunion last sept. I had one 7&7..
No offence taken with the G D Democrats. i've called them but mostly the republicans alot worse than that. lol.
People should concentrate more on things we agree on and less on things we don't. Maybe if we learn to compromise a little we'd all be better off. Everyone deserves a little and no one deserves everything. That's the way I try and live my life. I don't expect everything to go my way or everything to go your way. We each need something but not everything. Well gotta go. I have more responses to get to. Have a wonderful day....

Gingrich will win more of the south but Romney should get the nomination. VA and blue states will go Romney by large margin. Winner take all FL will produce a new delegate leader.

Out of curiosity, what is your criteria for choosing to support a candidate?
  • Seonag William 2012/02/04 13:36:05
    Seonag
Actually my real choice is Mike Huckabee, but, alas, he decided not to get into the blood-bath of running for president. Of the 4 candidates we have, I see good & bad on all of them. Newt has his baggage (political & personal), Mitt has his with MA health plan and flip-flopping (BUT he did go in and turn the 2002 Winter Olympics around and kept the US from looking like fools - so we know he can 'manage.') Santorum could be a good choice if he got enough money and backing to make the run, but his massive loss in 2006 could play against him. I really like Ron Paul on most issues, but I don't think he can pull enough moderates and independents to win the Presidency and another 4 years of Obama makes me cringe.

The Republican elites as well as the media are afraid of Paul. God forbid that someone should employ the same kind of speech that ignited a revolution over two centuries ago. Today, in Maine, Paul lost to Romney by a couple hundred votes--probably the number that would have been narrowed had the Main Republican Party not excluded the caucuses that had to delay because of bad weather (17 percent).

Newt is a ougalist who is great at clawing his way to the top. But he doesn't seem to know how to live with success. He self destructs. I think Romney's tax returns will show that he paid virtually zero taxes on millions of dollars per year in income. And with the Republican base hungry for anybody but Mitt, if Santorum can get enough moeny to hang in there, he will end up the nominee.
