The community organizer had three+ years, and what did he excell in doing?
Growing the national debt by $5 trillion, rewarding his friends/donors with taxpayers money
and punishing his opposition, taking lots of Air Force I trips and playing lots of golf.
I am more than ready to give a successful businessman a chance, esp. one with integrity
and good family values.

No nonsense NanC...don't BS... 2012/04/28 17:26:36A successful businessman, duh!

Bain also saved many companies and people are employed because of it.
His foreign policy accomplishments are particularly impressive, including killing Osama bin Laden and most of Al Qaeda's high command. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for advancing the cause of peaceful dialogue between nations, which is a pleasant change from Bush's bellicose foreign policy.
By the way, bin laden would have been dead if Mickey Mouse was president. The people in charge of the military are the ones who do the dead. One thing I will say about Bush, he gave credit to those that did their jobs in the military. This guy takes credit for everything everyone else does plus the real truth is, he was against killing Bin Laden according to his own aids, he was talked into agreeing with it by Military Command. You really need to stop re-writing history and the truth, a trait all you progressive liberal socialist are known for to make your agenda look like it has meaning. Once again more false BS.
As usual, you are completely wrong about bin Laden's killing. Obama was the commander-in-chief from beginning to end, according to everyone who was there. He made all the important decisions after listening to the conflicting arguments from the military people, most of whom preferred to bomb bin Laden's hideaway from the air. Obama had already ordered the SEALs to begin training for a land mission, and he gave the order to proceed when they were ready.
A few books have been written about it, and several of the principals were on Face the Nation this morning to explain how it went down. You need to open your eyes and ears, and your mind, and learn a few truths for a change.
Why do you try to argue on a topic about which you have so little knowledge? It makes you look like a fool.
Did you catch the Face the Nation feature? It is probably on YouTube by now. You should check it out.
You like to jump in at the end of a discussion and begin attacking the one you don't believe in, but you don't say a word about the topic under discussion. Now is your chance.
Who can run America better, a former vulture capitalist who specialized in firing people, or an experienced president with a proven track record, like killing Osama bin Laden?
Now we have something to discuss.
As if all of this is not bad enough, he has presided over the greatest power grab in our history. He governs as if he is a king rather than a (p)resident with one executive fiat (decree/order) after another; many of which are in violation of the Constitution, for which he has absolutely no respect....zip, zero, zilch! As a result of his massive power grab the NDAA (unlawful indefinite detention) of citizens w/o recourse and paves the way for Martial Law , attacks on free speech, dissent, and lawful assembly and his regime is now moving against the right to bear arms as guaranteed by the Constitution. As a result of his massive power grab the NDAA (unlawful indefinite detention) of citizens w/o recourse and paves the way for Martial Law , attacks on free speech, dissent, and lawful assembly and his regime is now moving against the right to bear arms as guaranteed by the Constitution. His stated (documented) goal is to transform America and he is doing just that at warp speed in moving us toward Socialism with massive growth of government and the destruction of individual freedoms. This is not a man who would seek to maintain the free America as envisioned by our forefathers. rather he would seek to destroy it and re-create in his own image.
Like many others not of your persuasion, I do not believe that this is an honorable man. To the contrary he is a well documented liar and I believe a fraud because he has not been what he proclaimed himself to be. He campaigned as a uniter and is in fact
the most divisive (p)resident in my lifetime and as the days go on he reveals even more clearly by his actions that he is not a Patriot nor even a friend to the America we love. If he is indeed re-elected; our America will be gone, only a shell remaining as part of of his vision for a new World Order with him as the historical figure that brought us down and he as major player on world stage!!
The rest of your post is pure rubbish. He has never claimed to want to do anything but be the best president he can be. He inherited an impossible economic situation and two wars. The economy is now in recovery, we are adding new private-sector jobs every month, the stock market is back to its pre-recession level, the housing market is improving, we are finally out of Bush's war in Iraq, the end is near in Afghanistan, women now earn the equivalent of men doing the same work, 31 million people will have access to health care in ACA, Bush's tax cuts will expire at the end of the year, etc, etc.
Obama has never said anything about the Second Amendment, nor has he ever mentioned anything about confiscating handguns (I wish he would). He has never mentioned any new world order, a favorite topic on the far right.
Which is it? Does he want martial law or socialism? The two are not the same.
By the way, the word is profligate. Don't use words you can't spell.
Otherwise, the economic indicators are all pointed upward. The recovery is not strong yet, but it is moving in the right direction. The Dow hit its highest point yesterday since 2008, and even housing values are inching upward, while gasoline prices are moving downward.
I realize a recovery would be very disappointing to Republicans and their corporate paymasters, but it would be very good for the rest of us. Mitch McConnell must be beside himself with grief.
Since the anniversary of Osama bin Laden's death is here, you must have an opinion on Obama's brilliance and leadership skills in organizing the intelligence, training and execution of the mission that killed the Al Qaeda leader.
