    I'm not voting.
    Kirsten Runnels
I am a democrat, and always will be in the democratic party but reguardless what party i belong to, i choose who i feel is best for the job and i am choosing not to vote because i truly believe that none of the canidate's should be our president. I hate Romney more than i do Obama. All i see when i look at the man is a fraud and when he speaks i hear nothing but lies, if he gets into office, we are screwed. As for Obama, I like him and everything but he has made some mistakes that has impacted alot of people in negative ways, including my family. but i do think he actually cares. Romney all i think he cares about is the money involved with being president. The more he can make, the more he'll have in his bank account in a foreign country. how sad is that he puts his money over seas to avoid taxes, what a scumbag. But the reason i will not vote for obama, is because i believe that 4 years was all he was meant for. He did the best he could. If he does get another four years, he does need to up his performance a bit. as for ron paul, i dont know much about him, but have heard good things, i may have to I think about him.but i everyone is entitled to their opinion, and this is mine. No disrespect to anyone.

I'm not old enough to vote.
    ameowica
Well guys, I'm not even old enough to vote and I already have more sense than the obama voters. Come on, look at what he has done to this country in the past 4 years. Do you really want that again? Romney is the obvi choice. My family is considered middle class, my parents are voting for Romney. If they thought that was a bad decision, they wouldn't vote for him. But obama is a million times worse! They've always been conservative and it's time for a change in America. Seeing liberals control everything isn't okay.

I was going to vote for Ron Paul, not one of these two! I think one is too soft, Obama, and one too hard, Romney. I hope we can turn the economy around, it is wearing me out

I am voting Obama.. but I wish I had a better option... something other than the two parties involved... we don't get much of a choice... I don't believe in the crazy extremes that Barack will take us to Communism or he is the Anti-Christ... but I do believe he and Romney are two polar opposites and I wish there was someone in the middle.

Both running for President do not correspond with the Values which were founded by the US Forefathers. Abortion has killed a generation, National debt is out of control. I don't like either stance for Israel. Both are scary. I will vote for Pastor Robert Morris who believes in jobs, a balanced budget and for all people alike. He is bringing people together for their own benefit. To make them feel like they belong in our America, Home of the Free, One Nation Under God.

A vote for any one else is a vote for Barrack Obama. An immoral, ungodly, socialist that wants to legalize same sex marriage, supports government funded abortion and sides against Israel. This is not a political choice, its a moral one.

Americans have to realize there are more than 2 candidates-- the 2 party system is a scam. I'm voting Gary Johnson! He is on the ballot in @ least 47 states, & his stances are logical, pro small government, and for people making their own decisions (instead of the govt.) Romney & Obama are honestly a joke, a terrible awful joke. Obama (& George W) passed ridiculous unconstitutional laws like the Patriot Act & judging by Romney's stances on the issues he won't be any better.

Anyone with a brain would NOT vote for the Obanation in the White house now..Or maybe they don't care that the Obama's want to tell you how to live and what to feed your children. AMERICA used to be free, now its turning into a "free-for-all." OBAMA has signed every "TA" bill that crosses his path sending AMERICAN jobs off-shore. He has put a price on our grandchildrens heads to pay for the "trillions" of dollars waisted. Don't forget the billions of dollars lost on his bail-outs..AMERICANS want to work, give the hand outs to the illegals he keeps supporting; and bring AMERICAN jobs back to AMERICA!!

Obama bailed out GM allowing GM to buy over 2000 robots, Costing over 4000 jobs. Obama also headed up the cash for clunkers program, which only benifited those who could afford to go out and buy a new car. All cars traded in were disabled and crushed. Instead of haveing them made available for those of lower incomes who need them to go and find work, and need them to go to and form work. Now Romney. Though well educated, Here is a man who has used his education to prey upon the less fortunate for personal gain. Maybe legal < but mostly immoral. He is also a man without a plan. RON PAUL is the only one who has a REAL PLAN !!!!!

So am I and liberals have owned this state for as far back as can be remembered. Any problems that exist here fall clearly on the liberal power structure that strangles MA. There is no democracy here.
  • Pat LarryFine 2012/06/05 14:56:10

I agree that this state has issues and it's basically the "old boy" network of you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. I was just pointing out that Romney used the same malarkey when he ran for governor here, lower taxes, more jobs. If he didn't pull it off here, he won't pull it off as president. His ideas don't work.

I'll cut him some slack as governor. MA politics is nasty if you are in the minority and I can see him having to cut deals to get anything done. If he plays games as President, my opinion will quickly change. He says he'll repeal Obamacare. I better see him pushing for a repeal if it is not overturned.

I disagree with you on Obamacare but what I would have preferred is a single payer system with everyone covered and run using current Medicare Intermediaries as the claims adjudicators/processors. The thing is, he will play games. They all do and he's used to wheeling and dealing in businesses with big bucks. I just don't trust someone with his background to run the country. America is not a business, it's our home and it needs not only a strong administrator but also a gentle hand when trying to solve the problems of the poor, the elderly, sick/disabled, etc. I just cannot vote for the guy.
  • LarryFine Pat 2012/06/08 12:09:22
    LarryFine
You can't have it both ways. America is not a business, but liberals want to take over and hand business to government and run our country like it's one. Government can NOT run ANYTHING efficiently or cost effectively. History has shown us that. When you are not accountable and have no ownership of the outcome, you have no need to care about waste. You see, the bottom line is important even if you are told it is not. There is no bottom line with government. When the screw up, they just come looking for more.

Government has, for generations, been fighting the battle of poverty, sickness, hunger, etc. And, they have failed. Just listen to any vet tell you how poor the service is at their local VA hospital. My dad would have nothing to do with the VA. Government takes care of hunger by passing out food stamps that only get traded and sold for drug money and cigarettes. Public education today is a joke because incompetent bureaucrats run the show and protect incompetent educators. Why do the best and brightest students choose private universities over state schools? Because there is accountability and quality in those private educations.
  • Pat LarryFine 2012/06/10 07:02:40
    Pat
Poverty, sickness and hunger will always be with us. It would be much worse without government intervention. You'll see that if Romney is elected.

My Dad was a WWII vet and the Veterans' Hospital took very, very good care of him in his last days. We were all very grateful and appreciative for the care he received.

There are always some people who abuse the system by trading their food stamps for drugs but not all people do that. Some people really need the help and they use their stamps for food.

I agree with you about public education at least in the primary and high school levels. We should be doing much better in educating our children. But I don't think it's as simple as blaming bureaucrats and teachers. The children are undisciplined, not ready to learn when they get to school, dressed inappropriately, there's way to much attention paid to sports and extra curricular activities, school starts too early and should go later in the afternoon. I have more but for now that's enough.

Both of my children graduated from State Universities in MA. Both are gainfully employed, supporting themselves and living on their own. AND they are both good, caring people and I'm very proud of them. I would recommend our state colleges/universities to anyone.

No government is perfect and most are much less than perfect. But I wouldn't choose to live under any other government in the world.
  • LarryFine Pat 2012/06/11 12:16:38
    LarryFine
Tell me how it would be much worse without government intervention, and don't use a simplistic view. Government controls monetary policy and economic policy in the U.S. We've continued to see creeping inflation due to both, straining the pockets of more and more Americans. So government hands you a dollar to buy groceries and doubles the cost of those groceries via poverty promoting economic policies. Welfare help NOBODY.

The VA provides superb benefits when you have NO other choices available, and therefore, nothing to gauge them against. For every good experience I've seen, there are 10 negatives. My father and six of his brothers all served in the military. Not one of them used or will use VA services for their health care. My uncle is retired Air Force and refuses to even consider VA health services.

So, you are willing to blame the parents for the failings of an education system our children spend 12+ years of their lives in? I completely disagree. Our school systems have become a safe haven for incompetent educators, protected by union contracts.

You are slowly going to be living under another government if the nanny state mentality continues....

I agree with you re. the first comments. However, I realize I have to make a decision between bad and worse of those who are most likely to win. I can not, in good conscience, hand a vote to a candidate that does not have a chance and increase the odds of the worse choice returning to office.

With the choice of a turd sandwich or a giant douch, What you going to do. With them having the ability to buy an office, we are all screwed and nothing will ever change. The rich in our country will continue to invest in other countries and reap the benefits of Our Great Nation, while the Employment Challenged in America struggle to survive

You can not use this office to FORCE the rich to invest in America. They would invest here if the climate provided for it. Right now, it does not. The nice thing about America is you don't need the rich to start your own business and, eventually, make your own million.

Hmmm? How about I refuse the two choices that are being forced upon us by the Establishment to continue the path of destruction. How about I think for myself, and continue to support the Ron Paul Revolution and pray by God's good grace that he hasn't abandoned us, and we get the chance to elect a real Constitutional Conservative that is not spouting a lie every time he opens his mouth. Voting for Romney gives the vote to Obama and Bush and Clinton. The same crap over and over again. To be quite honest, I would much rather throw away my vote standing up for principle and moral values than cast my vote for a fraud and another criminal to usurp the WH. At least then, no one can blame me for the mess they got stuck with. So, people can either join me and vote their conscience or get stuck with business as usual. I honestly don't give a rats butt either way.
