Vote for Romney. Not because he's good, which he's not, but because we need to get Obama out of office.

But to be honest, it doesn't really matter to me anymore who comes out on top. Im just ready for the election to be over so people will stop talking about it so much. Damn I hate politics.

Don't waste your breath, ya just can't talk to those sheeple. It might also go over well to state that Romney caused the loss of 250 jobs, Obama causd the loss of 250,000 in one move(keystone pipeline shutdown) and counting. Obama, gimme YOUR change.... America.

There where a lot of that people opposed to the pipeline, though. I think it was 800,000 petitions signed? That is pretty significant. When I looked on TransCanada's site, about a year ago, the amount of jobs where not very significant, and where not going to be Americans, they where hiring Canadians. Still, Obama does suck balls, but I do not count Keystone as one of the reasons why.

I have friends who work in Unions, and they where going to work it as well. Anywho, it was just one reason of a massive list of reasons.

Well, last I checked, it has not been shut down, just postponed. From what I understand Russ Girling, the CEO of TransCanada, says it will create up to 20,000 jobs. Not as many as you thought, but still significant. Unfortunately, most of those jobs are only for a short term contract. When I looked at the website, however, it said it would produce just under 5000. The US labor department reported that it would produce up to 6000. All are in agreement that the jobs are temporary. Still that is 6000 jobs that are seemingly lost, and I can see how frustrating that can be for those who are in desperate need of a job. The problem we are facing right now is what is going on in the white house. In my opinion (which opinions are relative and really mean nothing, I know.) It is not one person or one side to blame. All who are in the White House are too busy trying to make each other look bad in order to gain control that they lost sight on what they are appointed to do. It does not matter who is in office as long as we have people fighting against each other in the white house. They need to stop worrying about who is right and work to find solutions that work.

Yes, I just looked that up too and you are correct, not as many as thought. I really don't like the twp party format. It's ridiculous. It seems like they just take money one for a bit while putting it back in other areas, then the other party comes in and does the same in a different way, taking from a different areto give back to another. We need 3 parties, black and white make grey, how does a nation clearly sit in the grey thoughout its entire history and not have accurate representation lobbied for?

Agreed. It's always a bunch of ungracious, self important, out of touch old money types trying to tell all of us how we need to worry about religious arguments and other unimportant things that while important, are not to take precedent over any issu of millitary action or econimic standing we currently have. The big misdirection circus. I swear, we're lucky we haven't been attacked befor 911, because we certainly don't pay attention to the true issues at all, just liberties that we have opinions for and against. Is it any wonder we're in trouble right now?

I am not surprised at all. I knew this would happen, the writing was on the wall a long time ago, and if people understood simple economics, they would have known too.

I have worked 2 federal government jobs. One was at an airbase in California (as a civilian.), the other for the census bureau. When you take a government job, you are sworn in. It goes something like this:

"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God"

Not to defend the president, government or even the soil. The CONSTITUTION from ALL enemies foreign or DOMESTIC. The biggest enemy I can see right now is our own government, because they themselves have forgotten this oath and have broken it time and time again, usually because they are more consumed with their own personal gain. That is the biggest crime of all.

Worst of all, they got us running scared, it's like no one has a backbone. It's like they forget, there are more soldiers retired, than there are active by great measures. If it really came down to Marshall Law, it wouldn't be easy as pie for them as many believe.

This is just my personal opinion, but I do not think anything that has happened in the last 15 years has been by accident. I have a good friend who was in federal prison for leaking information. People thought he was crazy, of course, but he has been right about everything so far. He tells me that things will get worse then I can imagine. I hope that part does not come true.
