Looks like the American people won't be seeing evidence of Osama bin Laden's death after all.
Do you think it's a smart move -- or is something fishy going on?
President Barack Obama has decided not to release pictures of the terrorist amid fears it would show a lack of respect and could lead to a backlash.

Why would Obama do what the Pakistani's asked (as far as getting rid of the body in 24 hours due to their religion) if they were the one's hiding Bin Laden in the first place?
It would do nothing but enrage the Muslim world, and it would do little to convince die-hard doubters of Osama Bin Laden's death. Much like the long-form birth-certificate, people will bitch to no end that they NEED to see evidence of Bin Laden's death, but if presented with proof will find excuses to disregard said evidence.
I think that hearing the testimony of the Navy SEALS would do a lot more good than showing photos of Osama with a bullet wound through his skull. Maybe that's just me.
Showing you his birth certificate did nothing to remove sand from your vagina. Showing you pictures of Osama dead won't do much either.
The birth certificate thingy. Well, he just should have stuck with his guns and not produced anything. I do graphics and I think a good old fashion .jpg would have shut everyone up.
Now, sand and vaginas?
I celebrated. Not too proud that I won't admit that. I don't need to see photos and even if *some* people think Obama and his administration would lie about this, I don't think that a team of Navy SEALS would. That, in my mind, is the best solution: don't release photos, but do allow the involved Navy SEALS to discuss what happened in their own words.
I doubt that the Navy Seals will ever be allowed to discuss this. I don't know if anyone is lying about the accounts. I find a lot about what happened a bit strange. I mean we orchestrated an assasination in a country that hid the very man that cost us trillions over the past 10 years to find. The last thing I would really care about are their feelings or customs. They could have brought him here within 24 hours and buried him under a rock well beneath the twin towers. I mean Obama wanted Bush in jail for waterboarding. We shot the bastard in the head in front of his kids. Where is all of the sensitivity coming from?
