White House Tied to Fast and Furious
The disastrous Obama Administration operation “Fast and Furious”, which deliberately put guns in the hands of the Mexican cartel, exploded this week with new revelations of a cover-up, and emails which tie the scandal directly to the White House for the first time. The supervisor of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives operation in Phoenix specifically mentioned Fast and Furious in at least one email to a White House national security official, and two other White House colleagues were briefed on reports from the supervisor, according to White House emails and a senior administration official. The White House denies that they were informed of the operation’s “covert investigative tactics”, which sounds an awful lot like parsing to avoid legal jeopardy. Where is the national media on this? During the Watergate scandal, the nation came to a screeching halt while the media expended unlimited resources exposing the debacle – no detail was too small to be exposed. With “Fast and Furious”? Crickets. Sure, they’ll mention new details when leaked to them, or notable testimony from a House hearing. But unlike Watergate, the national media will not put dedicated reporters on the trail to dig up the whole story. Even when the Attorney General is caught in a lie – under oath. Even White House is now proven to have been in the loop all along – despite their denials. And no one was killed from Watergate. Hey media: do your damn job. If not for us, then do it for him…
And now, for the first time, evidence that the White House – which had denied knowledge of the operation – did in fact know about the scandal. At least three national security officials in the White House were briefed to some extent on the operation:

This is an outrage why are these people still in office and not in a prison cell.?
They may be able to hide and smudge slot of things but direct Whitehouse knowledge of a criminal US operation that resulted in the deaths of American officers is too damn much. And the fact the operation was in direct support of American enemies with the approval at the highest levels, including Obama (yes, I know, but just you watch) is going to smear the MSM like never before.
But worse than repeating the same disastrous plan, is that the media ignores what is going on. If this had been Bush or a republican president, than this would be all over the news every single night. The reporters at the press conferences would be hammering the president would hardball questions, and there would be demands for full investigations.
Evidence of another kind of cover-up in the scandal has surfaced, too. Late last night, Sen. Chuck Grassley’s office revealed 21 Fast and Furious guns have been found at violent crime scenes in Mexico. Previously, we knew 11 guns had been found at violent crime scenes in the U.S., but ATF now says that number was inflated. The downward revision on the number of recoveries in the U.S. is scarcely comforting in light of the larger number of recoveries in Mexico, though.
As Grassley put it in a statement yesterday, “The Justice Department has been less than forthcoming since day one, so the revisions here are hardly surprising, and the numbers will likely rise until the more than 1,000 guns that were allowed to fall into the hands of bad guys are recovered — most likely years down the road. … What we’re still waiting for are the answers to the other questions the Attorney General failed to answer per our agreement. The cooperation of the Attorney General and his staff is needed if we’re ever going to get to the bottom of this disastrous policy and help the ATF and the department move forward.”

But I also heard something about this program starting while Bush was still in office, at which point I have no idea what the end game was supposed to be.
But Obama will fight off any nomnation challenge, just like Carter did. The DNC will be hard-pressed to dismantle the Obama regime in time to get Hillary's campaign up to speed.
So here is how it could work: The DNC tells Obama, "We're not in the business of impeaching our own, but there's no way to tell how this 'Fast and Furious' thing is going to play out. We fully support you in 2012, BUT... we need you to accept Hillary as VP. You need a stronger VP than Biden anyway. And in a disaster scenario where we lose too many seats and you get impeached, we aren't stuck with burdensome Biden for almost a full term."
By sliding Hillary into the VP slot, the DNC gets a stronger ticket and an insurance policy that leaves a viable President in line for succession -- just in case. Of course it ALSO means Clinton Democrats join forces with Republicans to impeach Obama. The strategy to mitigate the risk of impeachment just happens to produce the votes necessary to carry it out. You ask for a miracle, I give you Vice President Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Although the reality distortion field has been running full-tilt for years, nobody is delusional enough to think Biden is an asset. Meanwhile, Obama might be too arrogant to seriously consider the possibility of impeachment. After all, this is a guy who gets a free pass from Democrats and the media almost every day of the week.
She will be too old to run for President in 2016, and Obama's track record will prove as toxic for Democrats as Bush's was for Republicans. A nomination challenge in 2012 won't work any better than Ted Kennedy's challenge of Carter in 1980. But if she's betting on Obama's impeachment (the odds of which improve dramatically with her as VP), this is one way to become POTUS before 2016. No nomination challenge, no apologizing for Obama.
Meanwhile, Hillary looks like a loyal party member every step of the way (even while figuratively twisting the knife in BHO's back). This could be the most exciting political drama since Julius Caesar.
I never thought there was any problem to which I would turn to the Clintons for a solution. But if there is one problem they can solve, this is it.
Another problem for her in 2016 is the Bush machine and the inside the beltway elites, they have their eye on the WH for Jeb. Seems they already have Rove out there trying to get obama reelected so it can happen. These people don't give a hoot about this Country; just holding onto their power.
Jeb is a long shot for the Republicans; the only way he gets nominated is against a sitting President with a high probability of re-election. Sure, it worked for Bill Clinton vs. George HW Bush, but he beat the odds. In all other scenarios, there are more electable Republicans not named Bush.
Ironically, the Jeb Bush candidacy fits nicely in a 2016 "Hillary running for re-election" scenario. I hope BHO and Hillary lose in 2012. I look forward to voting against them, regardless of who the opponent is. I just don't think we can do any worse.
I don't know about you, but I've seen enough of the Bushes and Clintons anyway.
