President Obama has no intention of getting rid of Vice President Biden as his running mate, the White House said Thursday.
Republicans are being “ridiculous” and are trying to “distract attention” with their focus on Vice President Biden and his controversial comments earlier this week, White House press secretary Jay Carney said.
“They know that what they're saying about this is ridiculous," Carney said at a briefing with reporters, adding that it's an “obvious” attempt to take attention away from policy issues.
Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign lashed out at Biden and President Obama this week after the vice president in an address in Virginia said the Republican’s approach to the financial industry would “put y’all back in chains.” Biden made the remarks in front of a racially mixed audience.
Obama’s campaign has repeatedly said Biden was simply talking about financial regulation.

Temlakos~POTL~PWCM~JLA~☆ 2012/08/16 21:12:47It's a big mistake keeping Biden because.....+10Now the jig is up. Obama kept Biden because Biden did exactly what Obama told him to do. And Obama cannot bring himself to believe that Biden's crude attempt to foment race riots has failed utterly.

Biden is like a child in that he repeats everything he hears. So whatever is coming out of his mouth is something someone has recently said about a given topic that Biden is talking about.
Good team.
I look forward to the Vice Presidential debates with Biden v Ryan, with Joe Biden having 35 years experience in the Senate and 4 years as Vice President, against Ryan with his 13 and a half years experience in the House. Romney's pick of Ryan as his running mate was more lame than McCain picking Sarah Palin with her two years experience as Governor of Alaska. Sarah Palin was not ready or prepared to be one heartbeat away from the Presidency, and the same thing applies to Paul Ryan. Ryan may be the extremist ideologue poster boy for the Republican party, but he is not Presidential material.
You think Joe Biden IS presidential material? Huh? What? Are you kidding? Really?

Bush had so many gaffes, they had to make up a word for them. They're called "Bushisms".

Funny how Joe Biden doesn't have a word that describes all his gaffes.
And if you have been following Ryan's interviews in the last few days, and the way he is dancing around his positions with questions from reporters, the VP debates should be very entertaining.
BTW...take your pick:
Bidenisms or IDIOTISMS.
"I never asked for stimulus," he told Cincinnati's WCPO-TV. "I don't recall — and I haven't seen this report so I really can't comment on it. I opposed the stimulus because it doesn't work — it didn't work. It brought us deeper into debt. It was about $1.1 trillion when you add the borrowing cost; it put us deeper in debt and further out of work."
Later on in the day the Ryan campaign admitted that Ryan had requested stimulus funds for his district, and some grants were as much as $20 millions for the Madison-based Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation.

That's just one example. Then there's Ryan and Romney conflicting statements on Medicare.

Paul Ryan is so desperate on his budget proposals, that this weekend he is going to campaign in Florida with his mother. When's the last time you've seen a VP candidate campaign with their mother?
BTW, I'm not from California, I only live here. I am from the US Army, born and raised. One more thing. Mitt Romney has a home in La Jolla, about 12 miles up the road.

If Romney is elected, he'll get this country into a ground war with Iran faster than Bush got us into Iraq. That only took 25 months for Bush after he took office.
The US or Israel just can't bomb Iran's nuclear facilities. It would be great if it was that easy. Those facilities are buried deep into granite mountains, and conventional bunker buster bombs won't work. They're designed to penetrate about 90 to 120 feet of case hardened concrete, or the typical type of bunker. Without troops on the ground deep into Iran, the US or Israel would have to use the nuclear bunker busters, and nobody is going to start dropping nuclear weapons on Iran. That would bring Russia into the conflict in short order. The Persian Gulf would become a free fire zone with fourth and fifth generation missile technology, making our ships and carriers sitting ducks against missiles like the Sunburn anti-ship missiles, that were sold to Iran by Russia.
BTW, I'm not in the US Army. I grew up in the Army, born in Germany and raised on military bases overseas and in the US.
