Even apart from the fact that honoring the leader of this nation is nothing controversial, and even putting aside how absurd it is for anyone to think that the President of the United States has anything to do with decorations on basketballs, I think this is a great idea just to demonstrate how tightly the Obama Haters will tie themselves into knots trying to find some way to criticize the President for something silly and irrelevant like this.

Basketball has always been good publicity for Presidents. Ronald Reagan was even willing to associate with black people when basketball was involved.

What got this country into the mess that President Obama has worked so hard to clean up is attitudes like yours - don't do a damned thing for anyone but yourself, let anyone who might actually need help die rather than give it to them, and abandon anything that remotely resembles morality entirely.
