I agree , he should have kept the door locked and just ignored them ,they would get bored and go away , or he could have called the police and let them handle it .

Take a minute to think about this: Look at the scenario: Early AM hours, store clerk alone (wouldn't matter if he was black him/herself)...store closed, banging on door, acting confrontational when told no! Oh duh....I guess you would invite them in for "tea and crumpets".... Frankly...if it was three white guys, three chinese guys, or do you think I just made a Freudian slip? Think about the entire scenario....considering the neighborhood and the time.... Think maybe they were just looking for a bottle of "Big Red"....??

There has been a lot of minority crime, mostly black on white that has not made the media. A gang of blacks attack a white guy in Baltimore. The investigation was what did that white guy do to stir up those blacks. Crazy. Baltimore is one of the nastiest cities with Newark and Philly not far behind. Chicago is so far gone, it is already a foreign country and not included.

To tell any man of any creed that he must lie down and take a beating in the midst of wrongdoing, I strongly oppose. There may be some in the black community that are in an uproar over this situation, but I personally don't agree with our young black man "getting theirs" by trying to take it from someone else. There are opportunities for jobs, there are opportunities to better ourselves, there are opportunities to provide for our families. For a short period of time I was working 2 jobs, and may end up going back to doing so because I am determined. We're all struggling. To form an uprising in times like these, over nonsense such as this, is honestly very embarrassing. If the black community wants to raise hell over anything, raise hell over the crime rate rising, teen pregnancy, high school dropouts. Raise hell over the negative statistics of our NATION. Get upset about our children joining gangs. Get upset over their acting out instead of problem solving. Don't get upset because a white man defended himself. I will note, I am a black female age 22, and I'm noticing the ignorance of the situation. Then again when raised to know the difference between right and wrong, learn to forgive and not fault the present for the past...

If the facts are as reported then, of course, the store clerk was in the right.
One point: the article spouts some nonsense about people not being raised in the way of the Lord. It should be 'people not being raised in the way of the law'.

I still blame Obama on all this racial tension, his calling the cops racists in his early stages of his presidency gave way to what is happening today. Add the defence of the black panthers armed with clubs in front of a voting area has also given them the idea that they now have a government backing their crimes. This is only going to get worse. The liberal media is also in on this by giving their narrow views leaving the viewer with a complete different interpretation of the incident, they love confrontation because it sells. I am only glad that I live in the country were we don't have to deal with this kind of violence.
