I would certainly hope Ron Paul would be able to win the election; America doesn't need another 'neo-conservative' to be President, like Bush-Cheney, or Romney, Santorum, Gingrich, or anyother Rockefeller Republican (which is what we have had since 1988)>

A conservative can beat Obama. Santorum is the most conservative candidate.

I am getting sick and tired of watching "poll" after "poll" saying he can't, and getting sick and tired of the GOP establishment rigging the election, I'm getting sick and tired of the media whores crying the moans of joy for the establishment.

But I'm beginning to face the facts that we can't beat them at their own game, I'm beginning to face the fact that it will take a miracle for Ron Paul to become president.

This is one of the most important elections of our time, we can take a stand for liberty, or we can bow down to tyranny.

I have no doubt that we will win this fight, It won't be today, It won't be tomorrow. But in the end the spirit of 1776 will overcome the mindset of 1984 (Orwell's). Americans use to roar like lions for liberty, now we sing like sheep for security.

The youth movement is the most important things, Parents, Grandparents will you listen to what you're children are saying. If you are genuinely concerned about our future you will give us a president that will create a future of freedom.

I know that the establishment has ways of to win, but the more people we have stand behind Ron Paul, the more they lose. The more they lose, the more we the people win.

It's time to take to make a decision.

When people fear their government there is tyranny, when government fear their people there is liberty.

Ron Paul IS the only candidate that does NOT offer MORE of the same old story!

It's WAY PAST TIME for the voters of this nation to STOP voting in the same people that CAUSE the problem!

He's the only one offering a deviation from Obama's policies - which are really just a continuation of Bush's policies. So he's the only person offering real choice.

Ahhh, a Paul follower. LOL I can never understand this hysterical devotion to a man with no leadership experience, no economic experience, no record of accomplishments, no record of success, and in his 30 years of slurping at the public trough, passed one (1) bill. He is a professional politician with a zero record of achievement - We already have a king of rhetoric and no success - we simply do not need another

I understand, but it is rhetoric all the same. Look he may be one hellofa nice guy but, in my opinion, he is not presidential timber. He has been running for 13 years, it is all vanity running and it is time for him to retire.

I don't need Paul to tell me my rights under the constitution and my right to go online. I don't need to be told something I already know. I want jobs. I want lower taxes. I want the damned government to stay out of my religion and my life.

I need to know what he will do when the enemy lands. Or what he will do when Syria shoves a nuke into Israel. I want to hear we are leaving the UN.

I do not want a rah rah siks go bahm.

That excuse may work for a year, but 30 years of changing faces - no sell. He is re-elected because of his earmarks -- millions upon millions of dollars. I have a very real problem with that especially the way he does them. Find a bill that will definitely pass, put in earmarks, and then vote against the bill; then have the audacity to say that he has never voted for an earmark. Sorry, that is basic dishonesty.
    Not the guy for me.

America's youth is divided between Obama and Paul. There are not many true (social and economic) conservatives under the age of 25. Most are either liberals, or libertarians. Romney, Gingrich, and Santorum don't appeal to most young people. Obama and Paul do. If they were the 2 candidates, it would be a close race. But if one of the other 3 candidates becomes the nominee, most (not all) young Republicans and conservatives/libertarians will be unmotivated to vote.
  • smitty Leah 2012/02/16 20:23:08

Most of the youth is always Liberal. Isn't that the way it has been since the dawn of time?
