    Ron Paul
First and foremost I vote for who I believe would be the best Commander-in-Chief, because defending America is any President's most important responsibility. Ron Paul's positions on national defense and foreign policy are dangerous. He has stated - publicly - that we should bring all of our troops home; that we should stay out of other peoples' (countries) business; and that we should be "more friendly" towards Iran. I've heard him say so with my own ears. Dangerous and harmful statements! He has no business being in the white house. Lord help us if our only choice is Obama or Paul.

    Newt Gingrich
A very smart man but can not do two things at the same time, Think and speak.
  • olylift 2012/04/10 07:16:46
    Rick Santorum
I find it shocking that Gingrich is hated the least. Santorum has got to go. He'll bring the dark ages upon.

    Mitt Romney
Romney is a bad used car salesman with the integrity you'd expect.

    Mitt Romney
I really think this primary cycle was rigged. Even in my home state of Illinois, I run into more Ron Paul supporters online and networking about. Something tells me Romney stuffed the ballots for this nomination.

    Ron Paul
The only candidate that I liked left earlier. In my opinion Santorum is the best of a set of lousy choices.

    Rick Santorum
    Hard choice.

    Rick Santorum
Romney has the GOP nomination in the bag, but I would like to see Ron Paul broker a deal to get the Secretary of the Treasury post in Romney's administration, with power over the Federal Reserve and to orchestrate government spending policy.

THAT is where we need Ron Paul the most. And he could get that from Romney in return for using his political leverage to support Romney. It's how we can make lemonade out of a lemon. And I hope RP doesn't squander his political leverage by allowing his supporters to waste their votes on writing in his name, so as to effectively help Obama to a 2nd term.

Not many of us like Romney. But we need to unite behind Romney to oust the usurper.

I have 0 support for Gingrich, who's a globalist that swore allegence to the UN, or Santorum that seems to be nothing more than a standard corrupt politician.
  • Gregaj7 2012/04/04 04:55:47
    Mitt Romney
Three-way tie between Mitt, Rick, and Newt.
  • Reinhold 2012/04/04 03:24:53
  • JQHiggins 2012/04/04 02:13:09
    Rick Santorum
Dr. paul has the virtue of consistency. Gingrich can be creative or imaginative. Gov. Romney has executive and business experience. Former Sen. Santorum has accomplished nothing and is just as preachy as the President. He reminds me of my ex wife. All quack and no duck.
  • baboula 2012/04/04 01:55:46
    Rick Santorum
Sodahead has already determined the answer will be - I clicked "Ron Paul" but "Rick Santorum" shows up?!
  • Kat 2012/04/04 01:49:41
    Ron Paul
    Too old
  • Michiga... Kat 2012/04/04 22:45:52
He is the only one who is consistent and believes you have a right to personal freedom.
  • Kat Michiga... 2012/04/04 22:57:55
Don't agree with you. If that were true his ratings would be higher.
  • olylift Kat 2012/04/10 07:19:40
His ratings are low because Fox and the GOP don't want him there, and people within the Republican party believe them. He'd change the system in your liking that'll piss off Democrats and Republicans alike.
  • Kat olylift 2012/04/10 12:40:11
I have several friends who voted for him, they won't this time! They like many others are very unhappy with him thus the poor ratings.
  • olylift Kat 2012/04/10 19:37:12
Unhappy with him how? He's been saying the same things for over thirty years. If they voted for him before, and he's saying the same things now, wouldn't that make your friends illogical?
  • Kat olylift 2012/04/10 22:56:46
They can see what he is doing to this country.
  • olylift Kat 2012/04/11 03:50:58
I still don't understand. What exactly is he doing to our country?
  • Kat olylift 2012/04/11 09:50:52
More then I have time to list right now....Unemployment, letting aliens stay in the country and giving them freebies just to name two.
  • olylift Kat 2012/04/11 13:53:59
Good lord. You have no idea. Ron Paul is a libertarian. That means strong border control, and as little government as possible. This means NO government handouts. HIs stance on unemployment includes cutting taxes for everybody to stimulate an environment that fosters job creation. I was right to assume your friends, and now you are illogical.
  • Kat olylift 2012/04/11 17:00:27
IF Paul makes it to the nomination I will vote for him.
  • olylift Kat 2012/04/11 22:28:41
I appreciate that. Knowledge is power.
  • Kat olylift 2012/04/12 09:52:27
Any Republican is better then what we have now!!!!!
  • olylift Kat 2012/04/12 09:55:23
Not necessarily. If we are to vote blindly for a candidate like America did in 2008, bad things will happen.
  • abycinnamon BN-1 2012/04/04 00:54:44
    Rick Santorum
    abycinnamon BN-1
kind of a tie between Santorum and Gingrich.
  • flipflopndrippitydrop 2012/04/04 00:49:20
    Rick Santorum
Because he's pledged to force his opinions on the lives of every American.
  • The Sane One 2012/04/04 00:36:33
    Rick Santorum
    The Sane One
Rick Santorum is pushing for America to become a theocracy.
