Ron Paul

First and foremost I vote for who I believe would be the best Commander-in-Chief, because defending America is any President's most important responsibility. Ron Paul's positions on national defense and foreign policy are dangerous. He has stated - publicly - that we should bring all of our troops home; that we should stay out of other peoples' (countries) business; and that we should be "more friendly" towards Iran. I've heard him say so with my own ears. Dangerous and harmful statements! He has no business being in the white house. Lord help us if our only choice is Obama or Paul.

I really think this primary cycle was rigged. Even in my home state of Illinois, I run into more Ron Paul supporters online and networking about. Something tells me Romney stuffed the ballots for this nomination.

Romney has the GOP nomination in the bag, but I would like to see Ron Paul broker a deal to get the Secretary of the Treasury post in Romney's administration, with power over the Federal Reserve and to orchestrate government spending policy.

THAT is where we need Ron Paul the most. And he could get that from Romney in return for using his political leverage to support Romney. It's how we can make lemonade out of a lemon. And I hope RP doesn't squander his political leverage by allowing his supporters to waste their votes on writing in his name, so as to effectively help Obama to a 2nd term.

Not many of us like Romney. But we need to unite behind Romney to oust the usurper.

I have 0 support for Gingrich, who's a globalist that swore allegence to the UN, or Santorum that seems to be nothing more than a standard corrupt politician.

Dr. paul has the virtue of consistency. Gingrich can be creative or imaginative. Gov. Romney has executive and business experience. Former Sen. Santorum has accomplished nothing and is just as preachy as the President. He reminds me of my ex wife. All quack and no duck.

His ratings are low because Fox and the GOP don't want him there, and people within the Republican party believe them. He'd change the system in your liking that'll piss off Democrats and Republicans alike.

Good lord. You have no idea. Ron Paul is a libertarian. That means strong border control, and as little government as possible. This means NO government handouts. HIs stance on unemployment includes cutting taxes for everybody to stimulate an environment that fosters job creation. I was right to assume your friends, and now you are illogical.
