    Sen. John McCain

McCain, straight up, unapologetic, answered the questions, unlike Obama who tapped danced around far too many questions. Obama's crap answer to the abortion issue of "Making that decision is above my pay grade." was not only a poorly executed dodge it was indicative as to how Obama will handle the tough choices made by a POTUS.
pay grade executed dodge indicative obama handle tough choices potus

Rick Warren is part of the Decepition. He's nothing but a New Age putz hiding behind a facade of Christianity.

Neither of these candidates was worth the paper the ballots were printed on.

    Sen. John McCain

John McCain was direct and concise with everyone of his answers. He didn't hem and haw or double-speak, as did his opponent. If you can't get a straight answer from a man on abortion or other easy questions how is he to handle tougher situations. If a person doesn't know who they are and what they believe, how am I as a convident woman, of the same age as Obama, too put my trust in him to run our country where my children and grandchildren live. Sorry Obama, looks like you want to ride the fence on too many issues. We need a man with a backbone and convidence to lead America into the brighter future I know is ahead of the battle against terror. That man is John McCain and the excellent wisdom he showed in the forum and after by his choice of a woman, Sarah Palin, for his VEEP who is just as much the Maverick that John McCain has always been!!

church is not the place to debate politics even though this country was founded on faith. Over the years the meaning of God has altered in government so much that a lot of the politicians pretend to have faith because its expected but don't practice faith in living their daily lives and views.

Obama really considered all questions from different perspectives. He is a man who considers realities rather than just sound bites and narrow thinking. McCain just gave pat answers that did not take into consideration the true complexity of each issue.

Though I think that Sen. Obama should have pointed out that many of the questions were driven by Religious Beliefs and the Born Again don't like to face the fact that many of our religious beliefs are not made law because this land is not run by a Conservative Religious group like the Taliban.

Obama's inability to have an immediate and sharp response is typical of a person on guard all the time trying to hide who he is.... on the other hand his delay with a response with the Georgia crisis was a clear indication of his lack of experience. "needing two days to work out a response"?
I was very impressed with McCain, I think America shared in this assessment. For those that missed it, there will be a reply this weekend, Sunday evening and later in the night.

Obama considered his answers. He is a thinking man who understands that complex issues are not well served by simple, non-thinking answers. Simply because Obama answers with a slow, considered answers that take into account many different perspectives does not make him a dancer. It makes him an intelligent and fair minded man. I think we've had enough of knee jerk reactions that don't take the complexity of the issues into consideration.

I totaly agree! What do you expect from a LIBERAL! They can't get anything right. They continue to dance around issues. They are the party of entitlements (Socialism!) For once in your live take some responsibility and quit trying to have the GOV give you things!
This is the land of opportunity. If you want it bad enough you will go after what you want. If your a Liberal it is: Give me! Give me ! Give me! That is all they know! Hell, look at the military. They sure as hell didn't join the money. For some it is a job, but for others it for the love of your country and what it stands for. The military pay's peanuts! Even though you may not agree with all the politics it is your country and something you are willing to put your life on the line to preserve. What the democrats are offering is BS! Obama in my eyes, is everything I disagree with. I consider him the anti- Christ and somebody that wants to destroy what I held dear to me while I spent 20 years in the military!

That's right the State has NO right to tell the church what they can and cannot do!!! That's part of the reason this country was started, so we could have freedom of speech and religion, so far all I can see is the so-called liberals trying to silence any opinion that doesn't fit what they think is right!! I've never told a liberal they didn't have a right to their political opinion, but I sure have had plenty of them tell me my views are wrong and I don't have a right to them. Crucify me, I don't care!! But I will not be silenced!! They tried to silence Jesus who brought nothing but love, He was not a violent man, but He would not be silenced. I have the right to hear the opinion of whomever wants to give it. What better place to hear the true spirit of a man, than in a church? You have the right to hear them debate where you want to hear them, why can't I? I think that they should speak in every forum, that is only fair to all Americans. As far as I'm concerned have an athiest interview them. The more informed my vote is the happier I'll be.

There is NO hope in Obama...sorry....you didn't understand my response....or you just looked past it....I don't mind Change and I'm not saying this COUNTRY DOESN'T NEED IT...But OBAMA'S Change won't do anything but harm this country...He is not ready for office....clearly the VP he choose proves it....He choose a VP that has clearly stated he is not ready for office...Besides that fact that he is NOT ready...

Its also that everything is written for him & he is luckily supported by rich people who control him *SMILE*

I don't want that change....neither do I want that type of President!

Exploz, Obambi will put the government in charge of healthcare among other things, how are they doing with immigration, boarder control, social security, welfare, America's school systems. These are all black holes sucking money out with some getting disastrous results and the others getting worse by the day. Now it's time to get taxed more so the incompetent bag of winds can screw up another intitlement program that will be bigger than nearly all the above? Ya Obambi, what we need is change. What kind of change? Real change. What we need is hope. What kind of hope? Real hope. I don't think so. What we need is a grown up in the White House, not some kid who six years ago was basicly a social worker in one of the most corrupt cities in the country. Obambi, Nobama, no thanks!

A recent campaign event was held at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. It featured the two Democratic and Republican candidates for president. However, those in charge of the event barred (no pun intended) Libertarian candidate Bob Barr from participation.
