The problem i have with this choice is that i know the reasons why it is not a good idea to vote for either of the other two but not Paul. I am baffled by the fact that he is running under a party that has effectively put a gag on him in every debate and platform during the past several months. My advice to him is get out, so he can get his message out!

You are beating a dead horse with that BS already and it needs to stop. Paul had no knowledge of that stupid racist comment, and his constitutional voting record and private practice prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he is not racist.

As for your other comments, I happen to agree with Ron Paul. No state which votes against allowing marriage should be forced to recognize a same sex license from one that does--it's unconstitutional. No state should be mandated to accept the laws of another when the people of that state vote against such legislation and deem it harmful to their community because you are forcing your opinion of right and wrong, just and unjust, on a state or community that has views opposite yours by virtue of moving into it--almost inviting controversy and hatred. AND

    2. The point is, Government shouldn't be forcing anyone to hire anyone. People should be civilized and hire people that do the job best. It is this "required hire allotment" that breeds underswell and hate crimes in the first place because you are hiring people because you have to have a certain diversity quotient in your workplace, independent of whether or not the person is qualified for the job. That one should be hired because they need a certain number of people who are gay, straight, black, white, woman, man is obsurd and unneccessary. Also, unconstitutional because you are forcing a private business owner, which is not a government business/ organization, to run his or her business opposite their convictions. If that business owner is openly racist or against your views, you encourage people who think like you to boycott or support a company that is a competitor and believes the way you do. You hit them in the pocketbook instead of forcing them to hire against the free will to run their business the way they want to.

Sorry to bust your bubble but I will continue to post the truth about White Supremacist and Homophobe Ron Paul until he is gone and forgotten.

    NOW ON TO ROSA PARKS:

First, congressional gold medals have been handed out since even before the constitution, and there's no historical record suggesting that the founding fathers deemed them to be an unconstitutional expenditure. The first one was awarded to George Washington, in 1776. Second, the medal wasn't being funded by tax dollars, it was funded through the sale of bronze replicas, which Ron Paul would have known if he had actually had actually read the bill. If Ron Paul wanted to chip in his own money rather than charging the tax payers, then he could have done so, by purchasing a replica. Is there any evidence that he actually did? I guess words speak louder than actions. Third, Ron Paul claims that the medal went against everything that Rosa Parks believed in. But Rosa Parks was still alive at the time, so why not just ask her how she felt about it? What makes Ron Paul think that he has the authority to speak on her behalf?

At the very worst, Ron Paul is a blatant racist. At the very least, Ron is too incompetent to actually read a bill before he makes a speech against it.

The Civil Rights Act repealed the notorious Jim Crow laws; forced schools, bathrooms and buses to desegregate; and banned employment discrimination. Although Paul was not around to weigh in on the landmark legislation at the time, he had the chance to cast a symbolic vote against it in 2004, when the House of Representatives took up a resolution "recognizing and honoring the 40th anniversary of congressional passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964." Paul was the only member who voted "no."

"But people close to Paul’s operations said he was deeply involved in the company that produced the newsletters, Ron Paul & Associates, and closely monitored its operations, signing off on articles and speaking to staff members virtually every day.

“It was his newsletter, and it was under his name, so he always got to see the final product. . . . He would proof it,’’ said Renae Hathway, a former secretary in Paul’s company and a supporter of the Texas congressman’s."
