Which of Ron Paul's views do you want to see Romney adopt??!!

As Mitt Romney appears to be the presumptive Republican nominee for president the time is at hand to unify the party behind the cause. While Gov. Romney and Congressman Paul have had a friendly primary race, they could not be farther apart on their policies. In order for Gov. Romney to win over these Libertarian-leaning Republicans he may need to adopt one or more of Dr. Paul's positions.

Here's a few of Dr. Paul's positions that most Americans can get behind...

Auditing the Federal Reserve to find out what they've been doing with our money for the last 100 years.

Cutting entire redundant expensive govt beaurocracies and consolidating responsibilities.

Only going to War with a Declaration as the Constitution says.

Bringing our troops home from Afghanistan and the Middle East and placing them on our borders here at home.

Ending the unconstitutional income tax and the IRS by tax reforms and simplifying the tax code.

Adopting a more Libertarian state's rights view of social issues like marijuana, gay marriage, death penalty, etc...

Cutting military/defense waste and the BILLIONS going overseas in Foreign AID.

Ending the failed and expensive Nixon War on Drugs.

Repeal the Patriot Act, repeal Obamacare, end all the wars and don't start any without a congressional declaration of war. Forget auditing the Fed, End the Fed, and end the IRS and the progressive income tax. I'd be happy if Romney did one of these, but I'm not getting my hopes up!

Income tax is alright. We voted on it way back when. Also, we could do away with this electoral college thing. Is Ron against that?

Ron Paul has many good ideals I could get behind. I like that he is wanting to make the government accountable because they have not been for a long time. When I look at our government all I see is a bunch of greedy fat cats looking out for themselves and their friends and leaving the rest of us in the dust. Hell yeah I want to cut the size of government, find out where the hell all our tax money is going, and most of all STOP the billions of foreign aid we are sending so other government officials in other countries can get rich.

I wish Romney would adopt Ron Paul's sense of patriotism and adherence to the constitution. Then Romney would have to kill himself, out of duty to the nation.

Ron's going to drop. Better take a look at Gary Johnson. Hopefully all of Paul's will learn about him soon. There is another great candidate, if Paul does drop out as expected.

Of the ones listed i agree with all of them, i firmly believe the entire Ron Paul platform was simply about getting the message out to the established Republican party.

Even if Mitt Romney would get behind a few of these i would feel better come November when i vote for him because i am Anti-Obama, would be nice to have another reason to want him elected.

He would have to sign an ironclad legal document saying he would adopt all of Dr. Paul's views, give all his money to the actual needed (those in need through no cause of their own), repent of taking money from corporations and banks, before I would vote for him and it ain't gonna happen.

I don't necessarily agree with everything that Ron Paul says, but I agree with more of it than I do any of the other candidates. Get rid of the repressive income based tax and switch to either a consumption based tax system or just get the money from elsewhere (which would be entirely possible if you shrink the federal government to the size that the Founding Fathers originally intended). Repeal the NFA-34 and GCA-68 and go back to what the Constitution actually says -- "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED".
