Here is Clemente's written statement to CNN in case you missed it (or selectively chose to ignore it) ... "An increasing number of viewers are relying on Fox News for both news and opinion,” Fox News Senior VP Michael Clemente said in the statement, “and the average news consumer can certainly distinguish between the A-section of the newspaper and the editorial page, which is what our programming represents."
Clemente likened FOX programming to that of an "editorial page." An editorial page is pure opinion. "Programming" encompasses all of the station's content and is not limited to a certain broadcast.
When it comes down to arguing semantics, yes, the station does provide "news" but of the most obvious and egregious slant. It intentionally distorts, reporting out of context and even outright fallacies. In unforgivable haste, the station rushes to report and errs (such as it's most recent goof of epic proportions ... initially reporting the Supreme Court rejected the national health care plan before revising it) often. In similar fashion, CNN also flubbed with the same mistake today.
You're right in one regard. No other network compares.
Worst!!!!

Second, People who watch MSNBC don't think Saddam attacked us on 911, they can find more countries on a map and have a proven better understanding of world events. People who watch Fox know less than people who watch no news at all.

MSNBC never organized an anti-Bush rally. Fox has organized tea parties. MSNBC never donated a million dollars for the DNC. Fox has donated to the GOP. MSNBC doesn't "accidentally" show big crowds from wrong days to fool people. Fox does it all the time. When Rachael Maddow donated money to a candidate MSNBC suspended her. Because MSNBC has rules. Fox pundits openly donate, endorse and lick the boots of Republicans all the time.
There's no comparison. Fox is a 24 hour propaganda machine, MSNBC is a news organ...

MSNBC gave Michael Savage his own show for God sake. That would be like Fox having the "Michael Moore Hour." Here's a hint, Ditto-heads: When something really is "fair and balanced." they don't have to tell you all the time.
FOX is number one for a simple reason the left doesn't understand. Back in the 60's, the news was almost entirely rightwing but networks that offered leftwing news got better ratings. Today, all the networks but FOX are leftwing so that they give FOX all the rightwing and right leaning Moderate viewers. Thus, on any given day, FOX beats all the other networks combined... it's simple logic and facts the left are too blind to see.
While the left attacks FOX for being rightwing and for the things it does in that cause, they cannot understand that it is how unbalanced and leftwing all the other networks are that FOX stands alone as the only network offering a fair and balanced news programming... not because they give the left equal billing, but because they are the only network giving the political right any real say on the issues at all.

The end result... FOX gets over half the viewers, their ratings make them extremely profitable and the other networks fight for the remaining half of the viewers meaning they are unprofitable and losing millions of dollars.
Keith Olbermann is the poster child for what's wrong with the left as his hate and vitriol every day set a standard other leftwing news entertainers tried to emulate. But eventually, it caught up with Olbermann as he became so consumed by his hate for the political right, it seeped into his everyday life and behind the scenes he treated everyone like sh*t. He went to CurrentTV and was fired by Al Gore a year to the day after hiring him because of this same behind the scenes hate that not even ultra left Gore could stand.
The political left has a huge problem in that almost all of them are Democrats and half their party remains rightwing. So when the Democrats in Washington DC gain power, hatemongers like Keith Olbermann inflame the leftwing extremists to a point they not only alienate the Republicans completely against them, they split their own party against itself by attacking rightwing Democrats... this generally leads the Democrats to ruin because you cannot hold power when you cannot even hold your own party together. Obama is a perfect example as he needs a united party but the extreme left split the Democrats against one another pushing the right to work with rightwing Republicans.
When you watch MSNBC and their commercials promoting the network, you see people like Ed Schultz outright attacking the Republicans and rightwingers while promoting the Progressive agenda... he tells you in his own words where there is no misunderstanding
The point here is that people like Schultz are doing more harm than good for the left. He was whining all during the situation in Wisconsin then demanding that Obama get involved, then bragging how Scott Walker didn't have a chance because the unions were going to take him down, then crying like a baby after Walker won to hold his job how big money bought him the job when the simple truth is that most voters in Wisconsin support Walker and Schultz isn't one of the people who has to live with what's happening there... he's an outside agitator trying to inflame Americans against the political right but he does it in a way where almost everyone can see the man for what he really is.
You will never win with people like Schultz or Olbermann because they represent the extreme extreme left and you cannot fight extremism or hate with extremism or hate. If that's how the left sees the political right, then the secret to winning isn't to become like them... it's to become the opposite of them. That has nothing to do with ideological beliefs... it addresses behavior and standing behind your beliefs rather than slinging mud trying to beat the other side doing the exact same things you claim they are doing that's hurt this country.
Who are the wealthiest leaders in Washington DC? Who receives the most money to look the other way or to support a cause they don't even believe in... leftwing Democrats!
While many use FOX as an example of what's wrong with the political right, they should pay more attention to MSNBC and how they're doing everything they attack FOX for doing... and the fact they do it for your side doesn't make it any better, it makes it worse when all the networks but FOX are leftwing.
And why is it that all these networks are owned by wealthy rightwing corporations?
Doesn't that sound fishy? It should sound fishy because if you want to destroy the left and make them a pale third against Moderates and Conservatives... you buy ownership of the networks and control the information... you hire extreme leftwing news personalities and you could care less if you lose millions of dollars every year on these networks because you're earning hundreds of millions by feeding the watchdogs a juicy steak while you rob their masters home blind.
The political right hasn't done any damage to the political left... the left has done it to themselves with self inflicted injuries.
MSNBC is far worse than FOX in regard to the damage it's done to the left... FOX simply reaps the rewards of being the only network that gives the political right a voice 24 hours a day.
It really is not that hard to figure it out... both are bad but MSNBC is far worse because of it's self destructive "I'm gonna knock you out" mentality towards the right and then slips on a banana peel trying to get in the boxing ring knocking themselves out when their head bounces off the floor.
This is MSNBC...
And this is what they make of FOX because of it...
As a Centrist who voted for Obama and supported the left when Bush was President, I did NOT support them to have them become worse than they accuse the political right of being and trying to prove they're even more badass about doing it... I supported them because of who they were and what they claimed to believe, not for what these punk a** jokes like Ed Schultz and Keith Olberman made of them making everything they claim to believe in a mockery instead.
