CNN's viewership has dropped to its lowest point since 1991, The New York Daily News reports, while Fox News continues to lead by a wide margin. In the last year, CNN's ratings have dropped about 35% to an average of 446,000 viewers, while Fox News Channel's ratings have only dropped 1% to an average of 1.79 million viewers. MSNBC, the second-most watched news channel, is down 13% to an average of 689,000.

However, CNN's drop in viewership is primarily in the U.S. Internationally, the network continues to hold relatively strong ratings. "Piers Morgan Tonight" and Anderson Cooper's eponymous talk show, "Anderson," have not dropped quite as far as CNN's overall ratings, but they're still on the decline. What news channel do you tune into most often, if any?

For the few that watch MSNBC, "hey they make up the news," it's yellow journalism at best.

So you support Rupert Murdoch who wiretapped 911 victims ILLEGALLY? You get he is criminal right?

I hate Murdoch but I don't think that it was ever proven that 911 victims families were tapped. The man is evil though and I wouldn't put it past him.

A little bit of everything, but I watch MSNBC slightly more than everything else. I especially like its weekend program, Up w/ Chris Hayes. I watch CNN second-most, with Fox News being a pretty distant third. That's about it, actually. I only watch the news for two or three hours each week.

Fox is the only one that's remotely reliable. Listened to CNN's Don Lemon state that African americans in WWII were relegated to supply and support units while doing a promo on a piece about the Montford Point Marines.

Wonder how the veterans of the USAAF's 332nd Fighter Group and 447th Bombardment Groups, the Army's 92nd and 93rd Infantry Divisions, and the USMC's 51st and 52nd Defense Battalions feel about that?

It is more an issue of spinning the story to mislead the viewer. He tells half-truths and lets his sheeplike viewers complete the story on their own. He is very good at what he does, but don't pretend he is imparting any wisdom or information to anyone.

    1) "I'm as lower-middle-class as they come."
Hardly. His father was a well paid oil executive, he and his sister attended private schools and his father paid for their college. He grew up quite comfortably and is now extremely wealthy. How is that lower-middle-class?
    2) "They did a sociological study in Sweden that showed marriage dramatically declined after gays were allowed to marry......The institution of marriage in Sweden has collapsed. These facts are irrefutable."
There was no such study. Gay marriage is not legal in Sweden. He just made it up to try to bully his interviewee.
3)"I'll tell you what. I've been in combat. I've seen combat. If somebody in my unit..."
The obvious implication is that he was a soldier, although he never served in the military. He briefly served as a war correspondent for CBS during the wars in El Salvador and The Falklands....but he was in Buenos Aires, Argentina!

The majority of MSNBC's programming is opinion and analysis; they don't pretend to be straight news as does Fox whose viewers are the most misinformed of all news viewers. High ratings show only that people enjoy or approve of the pablum they are being fed. Questions about accuracy or respect do not really come into it. After all, Jackass is a highly rated show. Out of all of them, MSNBC is the best. They PROVE to be right, everytime. (over and over again.) I love that! Faux News shouldn't even be in the list. They're just a cult of delusional, lie-loving, corporate brown-nosing sheep. They are ALWAYS wrong. Lol!
