Reform and to an extent Conservative have make it "OK" to not observe the Torah and still be a good Jew. You can be a good person, but not a good Jew, which has a higher standard.

I can live without being a Jew, but I can not live without being a Rationalist, a Freethinker, and therefore a nontheist. But they better figure out who is going to do the work and pay the taxes while they pray and chant.

Follow political events where there is revolution (hah planned as such) and you will find in the burning of holy places, synagogues are almost never damaged unless it is action to terrify the local Jewish populace to make aliyah and go to Israel.
