    DUMB QUESTION
A president inherits the problems that developed BEFORE he ever took office. How can you blame him or say he's worse than a president who inherited a different set of challenges? You can't, because he didn't create those problems.
You can however hold him responsible for fixing or exacerbating those problems. For example: a president who puts limits on drilling for oil and natural gas, and restricts the building of pipelines while fuel prices double, his nation is in danger of losing it's supply of oil from the Mideast and his citizens could use all those new jobs is either a fool or a deluded university indoctrinated idealogue, and should not be reelected.

WRONG CHOICE!!! I MEANT TO SAY WAR!!!

A president who has a bad economy to fix doesn't have to send Americans off to risk their lives. But it's worth noting that President Reagan not only revived a failing economy but also won the cold war without a major expenditure of American lives.

Bad president is the one who whines about inheriting a mess from his predecessor. In 0bama case his whining proves he is incapable of doing his job.

Now he's whining that he needs another four years to fulfill his 2008 campaign promises. What do you think any reputable corporation would do with a CEO like that?

Four years is way too long. I believe the presidential term should be shortened to at least three years. We KNEW Obama was a lemon by that time.

We can't move in the right direction the next four years with a guy that was handed both a bad economy and a few 'wars' and failed miserably at BOTH. Four years later, we still have a stale economy, $6+ trillion more in debt, and a foreign policy . . . well . . . how much more proof do you need?

    One and Done!

    Please vote smart in November.

Why have half the Afghan deaths happened since Obama took office?
As of July 31, almost half of all U.S. fatalities in Afghanistan have happened on President Barack Obama’s watch. Since Obama took office in January 2009, 558 U.S. troops have died in Afghanistan, out of 1,127 since the war began nine years ago, according to CNSNews.com’s tally.

And the violence is escalating. July 2010 was the deadliest month for U.S forces in Afghanistan, with 66 combat and non-combat fatalities.

Counting for both combat and non-combat deaths, the top three bloodiest months for U.S. forces all happened during Obama’s term: July 2010 (66 dead), June 2010 (60 dead), and October 2009 (58 dead).

For the 558 U.S. soldiers who have died so far on Obama’s watch, 513 (about 92 percent) were killed in combat. Those 513 combat-related deaths on Obama’s watch account for more than half of the 963 combat deaths that have taken place since the war began in October 2001.

Our troops now have to take Islamic sensitivity training so they don't get killed by those that they are training because it is their fault they are getting killed. Yeah, like that is gonna make a difference..............do our leaders really think the killing will not continue just because our troops are not letting the Islamists see the bottom of their boots?

What was the alternative? Annex Afghanistan?

Don't you admit the idea that the geniuses who sent us INTO Afghanistan should have had a clear, SENSIBLE exit strategy FIRST?

    WHAT AN INCREDIBLY STUPID ANSWER.

If you want to know the answer, speak to the geniuses in Congress who not only voted for the war but refused to vote for funding or to consider the exit strategy.

I wonder who they could be. Oh yeah, the democrats who held the majority in government when the war was voted for. Go ahead, ask them why they didn't have a strategy.

THANKS FOR PROVING THAT YOU ASKED AN INCREDIBLY STUPID QUESTION.

I thought I might have to work to prove it, but you did it all by yourself.

The Democrats held the majority when WHICH war was voted for? Iraq? Afghanistan? And which of them is actually a WAR as defined by the Constitution? You DO remember the Constitution, don't you?

Given your INCREDIBLY STUPID reply, I doubt I'll find anything you say worthy of further comment. Just saying.
