Maybe way back, but not today where we pay taxes and into SS......They are taking what does not belong to them and to me that is stealing, we pay into this system and they are stealing...healthcare....they have cause it to skyrocket! Taking welfare, SS.....going into our schools....we are paying for all of this, this is not right and it needs to stop!!!!!

Not to mention breaking our laws!!!

True, but they did it the right way. These people come here take the money and ship back to Mexico...or they rape our system they are called illegals for a reason...they are breaking our laws....all other countries you can not to do that...they would deport you period!

Some people from other countries. Need to come to america because in there country there might be a war.Or their country might just be poor. Also immigrants work harder then americans.And they take their job more serious.They appericate everything they get in america.From housing to food and other things.

Estimates say there are some 35 million illegals in this country, give or take a few million. Unemployment is north of 10 %, which equates to roughly 35 million (or more) Americans who can't find work..... See a correlation here?

End the unconstitutional federal border controls and let any peaceful person come to the United States who wants to. This would eliminate almost all "illegal" immigration.

Both of the other answers are probably too extreme. I heard that illegal Mexican immigration is static, (as many leaving as coming). The stated reason was no jobs. With the way our economy is headed perhaps we will eventually need to immigrate to Mexico for opportunity.

If you were to check out my state, (CA), you would find some of the same things happening. However one of the options illegals have is returning to their home country and enough of them are electing to return to offset the number coming into the country. I should have said "not enough" rather than no jobs.

Deporting every illegal isn't realistic, but rewarding them with citizenship for breaking the law isn't acceptable. The best solution, even though it will never happen, is for the U.S. to annex Mexico and kick out their corrupt government.

That's a very large piece of land to annex, and their social problems would become ours - more so than they are already.

The Mexican government itself should be sanctioned and the people need to rise up and take that country back. Mexico is a vast and resource rich nation. The people should not have to be poor.
