Each of them have their attributes and each has their liabilities. I'm not that crazy about Mitt Romney because he is the most similar to a Bob Dole, John McCain RINO instead of a Ronald Reagan conservative. My next least liked GOP guy is Ricky Santorum, based on his desire to use the tax code to pick and choose who get's preferred tax treatment and who doesn't. He's a Big Gov't RINO hiding behind his "conservative" religious rants.

Newt sure has plenty of baggage, but at least he has a track record of accomplishments.... he's the ONLY one that has paid down PRINCIPAL on our nat'l debt. He accomplished a high percentage of his platform goals with his Contract w/America in the 1990s...

Ron Paul is the only real FISCAL conservative, but his military views really suck... I don't care which GOP candidate wins, but I would love to see Paul as SecTreasury or Fed Reserve Chmn... to get our monetary policy squared away.

BlackWinter, please don't think of Dr. Paul as an "isolationist" rather think of him more as a "non-interventionist". For example: Burma is an example of an isolationist nation. Switzerland is an an example of a non-interventionist nation.

Can you give me examples of what Paul has said that makes you think his policies would be more like those of Burma than of Switzerland? Because the several times that I've heard Dr. Paul speak he is a big time free trade advocate of free market capitalism. Am I wrong?

This is a tough one, but Romney is the worst by a hair. His lies and flip flops are disgusting. Newt would be 2nd, and may he should be first. he also does a lot of lying, and he is known as a bomb thrower. He's pretty disgusting also. Santorum is just nutty. Paul is the most honest of the 4. Although I disagree, with most of his policies, I respect him something I can't say for the other 3.

He's going to destroy like, half the government and we'll have to homeschool our kids.

Although Congressman Ron Paul expresses my vews on domestic issues better than any other candidate, his views on foreign policy are naiive and dangerous. His views are very similar to the views of the isolationists before World War II, and I want a President who will take pre-emptive action if he learns the United States is in danger!
