the best match for me would be Jill of the Green party, but i'm too pragmatic to waste my vote on someone who has no chance of winning when it might be needed to keep Romney from getting in.

I don't side with any of the well-known candidates (this is the first time I've heard of Jill Stein and Gary Johnson, probably because I don't live in the USA).

-- Ron Paul is equal parts right on the money and batsh*t crazy. Overall, I don't consider him to be electable, no matter how much sense he talks at times.
-- Romney was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and grew up to be one of the people who are ruining the U.S. economy by shipping jobs overseas and getting undeserved tax breaks for doing so.
-- Obama can't decide if he's a liberal or a conservative. Many of his political decisions were centrist or even right-wing, but he's not libertarian enough to be a proper centrist. He further chipped away at freedoms and liberties that were already trampled upon by the Bush administration.

At least that's how the candidates look from my European perspective. I'm part liberal, part libertarian, and I just don't see any good match for my political beliefs. If Hillary Clinton ran again, she'd probably be my favorite candidate.

Edited to add: I just took the quiz and it turns out that I'm most compatible with Jill Stein, Ron Paul and Gary Johnson, in this order. Like I said, part liberal part libertarian. Interesting :)

I agree with you except for the statement about Clinton. She has always been further to the right of Obama. She voted for Iraq, was much more of a war hawk and much less concerned about civil liberties than Obama pre 2009 was. A Clinton presidency would likely be more hawkish and less libertarian than Obama's.

    As I had figured being a Libertarian. Gary Johnson @ 85%, Ron Paul @ 79%, Mitt Romney @ 75%, Obie @ 55%.

Now, since the first two have a Snowballs chance in hell of getting any where I will stick with Romney for now. But if he does not get out of this White Bread/Milk Toast mode pretty damn soon I may just go with Gary Johnson in November.

I agree both major parties make me sick most of the time. But I want gay marriage and the right to choose, etc. If I give my vote to Jill Stein it will be like a vote for Romney. I can't do that. Because on a lot of issues they are not the same. But I do get your point.

Obama without question. I liked Gary Johnson for the Repugnican primary, partly because they didn't like him. But I don't want anyone else appointing the next Supreme Court justice and the federal judges.

Wilard "Ratty" Mittens is just a shill for the billionaires who are robbing the USA of all our wealth and driving us into poverty and bankruptcy.
