My parents were very Conservative.
My parents were religious.
My parents didn't believe in Welfare.
The were Democrats then.
They would not be now.
I know ,they raised me.
and I switched after Clinton's second term.

Liberals seem to emulate Europe more than any of the other flavors you list-- or maybe "progressives". I don't really know what the latter implies, to be honest.

Conservatives are all that's left of the Democrat party and some are leaving. When the do you can call it the Socialist Party.

LOL Yeah... blacks are going to vote against him for some reason. THAT'S going to happen.

Got anything besides conservative blogs that suggest this? :O)

He's not going to lose black votes, EVER. That's a given. College kids aren't going for the GOP... they just might not turn out for anyone on voting day. They're always iffy. It would be nice, but neither demographic are actual 'swing' voters.

Can't prove it to you but my boss is a black man and he don't like him.

I believe you. We're talking about millions of people at the polls, though-- and the electoral college. Areas with a higher concentration of blacks will overwhelmingly belong to Obama, regardless of what he does.

They put the mayor of DC back into office immediately after he was released from PRISON. Maybe a tiny percentage will vote with their brains instead of their skin, but it will be statistically negligible.

Progressives seem to be different than old school Liberals. The old days were "Conservative" versus "Liberal" where both sides were essentially Centrist. George H. W. Bush was "Conservative" but a pragmatist who put the country first. Clinton was a "Liberal" but a pragmatist who put the country first. The 21st Century brought "Neo-Conservatives" and "Progressives" into the equation, who were more radical, cynical, and shrewd. Presidents Bush and Obama have represented these two forces who put shrewd political calculation above national welfare. Libertarians, Moderates and traditional Conservatives and Liberals are coming up to try and restore the political equation.

Not a lot of difference between Liberals and Progressives and they are the real problem.
Conservatives and Centrist offer more real Democrat values but they are smaller and weaker in value.
Libertarians from the middle of the road still stay to the left.
Not much to build on there if you are trying to restore.
The Conservatives and Centrist are only voting away there own beliefs with this Party.
    Conservative Democrat vs Liberal Democrat

I'm sorry, I'm not understanding the Y-axis on those charts. Is it how Republican/Democrat you are?

No. It shows Democrat :liberal, moderate or conservative and how much they earn over the years.
or Republican:liberal, moderate or Conservative and how much they earn over the years.

See, I don't get what it means the higher or lower the graph is, because it is labeled such that on each graph, the right side is "high income" and the left side is "low income". So what does it mean to up or down on that graph?
